Lab challenge, new game.
Apparently, using an ANFO charge on the entrance was… excessive.

Derp. That is why I always just hope for a teleport device. o3o
In any case, I did manage to escape the lab… in a manner of speaking. Bits of my torso probably did, at least.
Ooh. I wonder what the odds would be that you’d start in the same lab if you did the challenge again?
Would be nice if that happened. Won’t happen since I reset the world whenever I die, since the loot I gained will be pretty dang tempting.
Booo. ;w;

What did you expect from around 30 gallons of that stuff. Pay attention to what you use.
…and now I’ve found a mininuke. Wonder if I can survive this time.
…good luck with that.
Nope.

Well, I did. Set the mininuke up at the farthest northeastern corner of the lab aboveground, and waited at the southwestern corner. Upper northwest side is destroyed as well as the main corridor, but the area I’m in is unharmed.
Took a really damaged hazmat suit I nabbed from one of the hazmat zombies underground and walked out of there.
Does enabling the experimentle Z levels in the OPTIONS menu not the mod menu allow bombs and fie etc to spread even when not on that Z level yet?
No, it’s still pretty much on a technical level IIRC (though it’s always possible that was updated recently and I missed it).
BevapDin just merged two important Z-level updates, after helping me fix them.
Z-levels are still obviously unfinished, but now you can see some effects: bombs explode on other z-levels and creatures move around them while you’re outside them.
Hi chap
U say bombs now go off thats awesome it truly is.
I assume fires are effected different?
Lab challenge, spawned close to a turret, died.
So I start again, same world, same character… and I spawn at the same place. Damn.
So start again, same like before… and it’s the same freaking spot.
Of course, I get a little curious. I watch for a while after the third dies, and stop. Start the same character again, and surprise surprise, it’s the same spot. But this time it’s different. Either the third time emptied the bullets, or the death cam did, but the turret is out of bullets. Victory by piling one dead body after the other.
And THAT is how you solve problems in the Imperium of Man. o3o
And that’s why I feel bad for the gaurdsmen.
Proof that the orks are the real good guys. owo
