How did you last die?

My old, really high up character almost just died.

3 NPCs approached my base. One started with the eater of the dead shit, one wanted to trade and the last in the back told me to drop my weapon. I told them to fuck off and it worked. Next thing I know, this motherfucker Arc in the back starts shooting their revolver at me, killing both of the nice dudes in the process. Queue hardcore firefight between us, me throwing a molotov right at his face (IT DID NOTHING), twice with my torso left at /, and down a lot of bullets. Iā€™m just fucking glad I had the repair nanobots bionic. Shame I forgot I also had the Unreal Reflexes or whatever. When I remembered it, I enabled it and bumrushed that dude with a flaming broadsword.

Fuck Arc.

Playing the Mall Scenario, and it was awesome, at least until the ā€œdeathā€ part. Rescued a survivor, ran to a car, used it as a weapon to clean a small town, started searching for suppliesā€¦

ā€¦and then the game realized that a UPS hasnā€™t where it should, and it crashed.

I reached a mall outside of town, and found like 50+ zombies in it. There was no way to fight them one-to-one (considering I was also using martial arts), so I reached my supercar and grabbed some spare molotov in order to bring the heat.
I was having the upper hand until an eye bot and a police robot IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING FOREST suddenly came and took pictures of me, and then the police robot caught up(since I was moving slowly due to injuries while fighting the remaining zombies) and shockā€™d me.

Bu t still i find martial artists pretty fun, Iā€™ll keep using karate.

i gave myself cqb bionic selected biojitsu and my first zombie encountered was zombie bio operator, apparently attacking them with biojitsu is not very good idea, my second hit causes chain even that lasted about 25+ minutes i dont know what really happened coz log was not long enough but i guess it was massive chain of counterattacks (and getting shocked on my end) from both parities (or maybe i was knocked out? does it happen anyway? dont think it ever happened to me before) i ended up dead and had no control over my char while it was happening;P

you got shocked.

use a non conductive weapon or a suitable bionik to counter the discharge.
or shoot it .

Started unfortunate harv in the building on fire scenario.

Spawned in some kind of store?

Beside a smoker. Literally beside.

Whole room filled with smoke even before the fire started to spread, so I couldnā€™t tell where it was at. There were no windows I could find. I ran into a side-room which I discovered had no windows nor doors. A tough zombie had blocked the door I entered by. The room had two zombie dogs and several regular zombies.

Unfortunate Harv could not even escape to begin. The fire never got to him.

I was at my indoor kitchen unit with a mini fridge, cooking up some food, when all of a sudden something exploded!

NO idea what it was, but suddenly everything was on fire, and I died in two turns.

Now that I think about it, there WAS a mini nuke in the other room behind my kitchen, but why did the kitchen explode?

Iā€™ll be DAMN careful with those things from here on out!

NPCs+Bandit+Grenade+Cougar=The End.

Moral of the story? Screw Animal Empathy.

break in the prision during night, because betwen prision and my base was big forest i had to only take my 1 tile bike, walk inside one and start to loot
day come i go outside sad because there is not too good loot (but i taken how much i can) and R tank drone is in front of prision (roadblock)

I created a new character. Worked hard on him too. Managed to escape the burning building, lose the horde and battered a tough zombie and shrieker zombie to death, but I was at high pain. Wandering hordes stopping my retreat, I go south through the field. All of a sudden, I see a MiGo nearby. No, no please no. I try to go past it but it sees it and itā€™s gaining on me. Thereā€™s no hope, no way I can kill this thing so early. I got so far. I panicked as I ran, but it was futile.

Right before it closes in for the kill:

To the southeast you hear: ā€œI love you.ā€

Argh! Finally had myself an RV with Kitchen and fridge, filled it up with gas at a station nearby, was looting out some houses to stock my fridge. Then some zombies showed up to ruin my day. I tried to run away in my RV, fumbled with the controls resulting in a swerve; I slammed into a vehicle in the middle of the road and got mauled to death because I couldnā€™t back up the RV in time! I was doing so well, too!

But I suppose itā€™s better than getting stuck in the store with a zombie bruteā€¦ He punched me through the storefront windows out onto the street where my Parkour saved me and my Rollerblades allowed me to run like a whipped puppy back to my RV and escape. The escape, however, ended as noted above. I was searching for Duct Tape to fix up a few parts of my RV when they got me.

I found a suit of Heavy Power Armor (helmet an all) outside a house in the town. Amazingly, it was just laying on the ground! After putting it on, I was so happy that I did the only rational thing that I could think of - I started making my way to the nearest church, fully intending to ring the bells to summon a zombie horde to do battle with. Unfortunately, along the way, I encountered a spitter and fucked up my footwork very badly. To my shock and dismay, my power armor was completely destroyed! While I killed the spitter, I was so heartbroken by this turn of events that I felt compelled to commit suicide.

Things I hate:

  1. Spitter zombies
  2. My clothing being destroyed
  3. Losing rare things

Iā€™ve got a suit of heavy power armor, but no helmet. Iā€™ve got full suits of the other power armors though, plus two suits of Rivtech power armor.

the world is dieing your family is dead no friends left no society and pretty much everything in the world is hostile with darker days ahead and you have a breakdown over a broken piece of gear hmmmmmā€¦ it was a realy nice piece of armor thoughā€¦

edit:ever had a spitter spit on all your stuff dissintegrating the things you ve been hoarding?

It was the straw that broke the camelā€™s back, largely because it no longer had that nice bonus from the power armor hauling frame.

My pneumatic bolt driver, two quivers of high-tier bolts and explosive bolts as well as my fucking survivor hood just went and disappeared when I was raiding a FEMA camp. I have no idea what happened to them because I sure as fuck did not drop them!

made a new world with dynamic spawn , figure it would be easier to loot town at the start, spawn in burning building, go outside so far clear, nice, travel few blocks and ā€¦whats that? zombieā€¦ dancer? what? never seen so im curious move a bit closer and a thriller appears im curious even more after checking their description i want to check how dangerous this thing is, cant be that bad its a dynamic spawn right its supposed to be easy at the start i move forward andā€¦

coz fuck my life, i really hate the thing when you make 1 step and suddenly its over coz you get in range of something that fires bazillion times and you cant even react you just see few seconds of bullets flying and then you are dead, also wasnt dynamic spawn supposed to not spawn such dangerous stuff at the very beggining?

Dynamic spawn is useless.

After having many survivors dying during city foraging, decided to start my new character with a different objective, the forest. So, i get my backpack and go north, grabbing what i can find at the underbrushes. Strings, rocksā€¦ in the way, two cougars start trying to get a piece of my legs, but a few sticks and stones threw at them keep both at bay. All looked well.

And then, a jabberwock appears.

I ran hard through most of the forest, hoping to outrun it. Thanks to a small horde of common zombies, lots of trees and Parkour Expert, i suceededā€¦ to die in the hands of a zombie dog.

Todayā€™s lesson: donā€™t matter what you find in the forest, STAY IN IT.
