So, Since on 0.B version, I noticed there is some profession traits like police office, MD or something like that, It dosn’t do anything for now, but I got some idea,
I was thinking mabye we can make those profession traits working as the story traits, what that is the story traits? for example,
you make the profession as the soldiers, so if you going to military outpost, you wont get shot from the turret, because it will recognize you army identity, so you only need to deal with those zombie to get inside,
so the profession traits wont just be a title anymore, it will become usefull, anyone agree?
The skater trait makes it easier to fight while wearing skates, the police traits make it so eyebots don’t send robots after you, the MD trait makes it harder to fail CBM installation. Stuff like that.

They are incomplete. Main blockers are my lack of time and computers, last I was able to sit down and look, not having stable id strings for the traits to hook into 'em.
With incomplete meaning here that only a few professions have profession traits yet. The ones that are in have a considerable impact. The goal of the devs (iirc) with the profession traits was to not only make small boni, but to make them meaningful traits that really influence your choice for a starting profession.
If it is ideas you are currently lacking, KA101, you could open up a tread here and just ask the community, I think people could come up with reasonable profession traits.

Time, not ideas. Not every profession gets a trait–military folks have their combat gear as a good incentive, and some of the existing traits are incomplete, forex–but I’ve only so much time available, and so much energy to pump into the process.
Creative work takes more than merging, and both the flood of technical PRs and recent events on the forum have bogged things down. Release didn’t help either.
