Not all skills cap at 10, though most crafting skills do. Some combat skills can go past 10 (example: I have 11 throwing right now), but I dont really know how much farther you can get. I know dodge gets limited by your enemy’s skill level, so I guess offensive skills might be limited at some point by enemy dodge skills?

This is about six months ago… more or less before the introduction of gun magazines, but I did manage to get rifles, I think to 30+, mostly due to the fact that my survivor almost always uses a rifle in some form. She basically took down a zombie dancer turned hulk horde by sniping at them. Hell, she can see a tank drone, and destroy it with a rifle before the tank drone could even get close enough to fire. Near the end, she switched the a bike mounted hypervelocity driver and obliterated streets filled with zombies one at a time.

She was my first character who got to do these challenges (second one was a speedrun in achieving godhood).

Near the bottom you can see her skill levels, rifles at 28, and I played that character for a while still, and got a few more levels in rifles.

Oh, don’t worry about it then, but Fusion Blaster is mandatory. Also, Fusion Blaster is pretty good now that they buffed it.

 I don't know what I fought, but I fought SOMETHING that gave me dodge skill 10 with an extra 1%. So it can go higher than ten, not sure what you need to dodge tho... Possibly hulk/brute/shockerbrute first hits. (The one that is like super powered, if you get what I meant by all this)
Throwing skill can go up really easily with just throwing sticks even, not sure if those would make it go higher than ten tho.

Hmm. There is that CBM that lets you dodge bullets. I wonder what level of dodge THAT can raise you to?

 Oh ya, I forgot that was a thing. I'd assume dodging a bullet would be harder than a brute super punch with or without that CBM, thus it should level you up more. I certainly hope so anyway, level 10 dodge is OP in melee, but if I get to 12? The only reason that brutes can ever hit me is cuz my dodge skill went down with my awesome armor, cuz it's super heavy!
 Also, I'd like to become a god too, but I don't know how to take a screen shot. I have a windows netbook, if that helps at all. (BTW Cataclysm is really easy to run cuz of the type of game it is - It's slow on my netbook, shows how good this thing is!)
 I don't feel like looking it up again right no, so it it bleach or ammonia you need to drink? And was it a gallon of it? Or more? Cuz of course it's not less.
 For the punching a shocker brute to death, what if you use zombie pheromones? That makes zombies temporarily passive. (Not sure it would stay if attacked) Just because the shocker brute is passive does not necessarily mean that the challenge would be forfeit since it is not against the rules, I think.
Along with that, I assume weaponless includes fist-type weapons? As in nail-nuckles for example? Even without that, muay thai with adrenaline boost CBM at the right time is OP. I'm better with my bare fists sometimes than with a freaking sword! (not all the times of course)

For screenshots I use print screen and Imgur for hosting and editing.
It can be either one, and it’s a whole gallon.
No pheromones, although I think they’re broken.
Punch weapons are still weapons.

Since its now basically impossible to get a skill to 40 anymore, would it be reasonable to lower that milstone requirement to something still high, but maybe sorta doable? Say, 20? That is still something only doable for a few skills, and not exactly easy, but its only twice the normal skill cap rather than 4 times it…

Problem is between this one being impossible and no BUFFS! Granades, there are not actually many milestones left.

That’s a challenge. A challenge is a thing you do once. A milestone is either a long-term goal or something that affects your character for the rest of their life.

Woo! I did some of these already!
Shocker brute and melee the chicken walker unarmed.
I didnt want to do that last one but it was shooting my friend that spawned with me at the start.
She raised me damn it!!
She somehow survived with only a broken leg though?
Plot armor!
Basically dragon styled it both times. Brute punched itself to death.
Chicken meleed at close range and was lucky critted a few times.
I only got shot closing in a few times due to my friend soaking up the shots.
Real glad I made her wear that ceramic plated vest.
But her arm was already broken and its taking FOREVER to heal…

Time to get started with my third survivor that’ll achieve god-hood. No speed run for now, and not gonna try making an NPC achieve god-hood as well.

First challenge down: Kill a tank drone without using invisibility, smoke, darkness, or Time Dilation. The tank drone must see you.

Somewhat tense yet at the same time anticlimactic. From my first god-hood character, I know that with good rifles skills it was easy to gun down a tank drone in broad daylight. On the other hand, I have misjudged the distance which let the tank drone fire off a frag shot from its grenade launcher.

Now I was worrying about another, or since it was moving towards my survivor, that it would start using its rifle, which will definitely kill my survivor… but nope, second shot destroyed it.
