I would welcome the ability to light fires using lenses/glasses/bottles. It would take longer than a matchbook/lighter, but would be very nice!
I also wish that the finger flamethrower could be used to light cigarettes and molotovs cocktails. Those seem like the kind of handy little tasks they would be designed for in the first place.
In the latest build at least, the CBM mini-flamethrower works the way you would expect.
