Dat gun. But you know you can always use imgur…
Welcome to my first post in this thread! And my first post in this thread is a collaboration… ah well. This image I drew, and Daitou from dA inked. http://daitou.deviantart.com/art/TheNineRings-s-Sad-Serif-inked-408532171
Now, the story behind this one. This is a drawing of my character, Serif. The setting that she normally comes from is a dystopian future, but I’ve found that she fits surprisingly well in Cataclysm. So I’ve been playing her in Cataclysm.
DAT PICTURE.
Damn NineRings, Didn’t think you could draw so good.
Well, my base sketch was fairly solid, if somewhat rushed. But he’s a much more experience artist than I am, especially with inking. He makes it look good, basically. I’m pretty proud with how far I’ve come in the last year, though. http://theninerings.deviantart.com/art/Serif-sketch-408282860
Hey, not bad at all! Looks like you just need to tighten up your linework some - less small strokes to make big lines, more whole big smooth lines. I’ve had to draw over the same line again and again until I earned a bit of consistency in execution, myself. It’s just a time investment that will come on its own if you’re drawing regularly
Of course, you could always go the route of more shading work than linework, and then it’s all gradients of pencil pressure from there. Mmm, smooth.
hands are a hard detail. they’re not needed, but even the impression of such lends much to the piece
I’m not much of an artist.
If not an artist, then at minimum, not blind to concepts and ideas such as dynamic and organic pose. Nothing stands perfectly straight.
I have yet to hear of a professional piece of furniture, so feel free to toss out art here. This thread started with stick figures, so nobody judges.

Don’t think that way! We can all be good drawers.
This is John, for example.

I love you.
I finally broke down and fell back to the ancient medium I used waaaaay back in tenth grade (the year was 1999, young-uns! Pipe down!) 0.7 pencil and paper!
Scariest thing is probably how the zombie breaks words into the door
Melee combat is a bitch to draw!

Also you shouldn’t be discouraged i used to draw worse than that a year ago (its marvelous what all that class time sketching can do) so if you really want to get better look tutorials in you tube (which are extremely useful) and start that practicing!
Ah nice! The short arm back hand fuck slap… with a plumbing pipe… one of my favourite street fighting techniques
I am doing one of those a picture a day things
(and also spaming the thread possibly)
Trying to slightly get more realistic with this paramedic

I’m not much of an artist.[/quote]So is that supposed to be a green afro or some weird headwear? and did you try to draw a gas mask in your face?
