Strange, I only see the comment without the option below.

Exact same problem. Deleting the options file and restarting generates a new options file…with the comment and nothing below it.

What is the option name? Can just type it in manually.

I’m on the Windows build. Seems my character is cold no matter what I dress him in. Broken?

I had the same problem, try adding static_spawn T after the option.

can’t sleep at all in new version, tons of clothes + 20C inside + Internal Climate Control - “cold wakes you up”

Well, I started over and can’t reproduce the problem.

I was using an old character template when I had the problem. I am not using it anymore.

Also there shouldn’t be any smoke.

Rock + hoe should make a shovel, just hammering it down like you would a pipe into a crowbar.

Nature still hates me, I decided I might as well record and the first thing that happens is a cougar jumps into the evac shelter and rips my friends face off, then proceeds to to litterally tear my face off. You might as well just tape wasps and on the heads of wolves and stuff them full of hand grenades. Either way I love to see that you are updating constantly. Very glad to see a more, stay away from the cities, kind of approach.

Also I can’t figure out how to activate static spawing. I looked at the options txt file but it’s cut off before it gives me the option.

Yeah. Any chance there’s a reduction in animal populations on the horizon? When I drive my truck around, I literally end up having to squash about 4/5 bears/wolves/cougars every 3 map squares. It’s insane.

You’d need a steel helmet to pull this off, and those haven’t been in use since the 70s by any major country.
(i.e. helmets in-game are all but guaranteed to be kevlar-type, not metal, and hence unsuitable for cooking.)

Metal canteen cups get used for this purpose nowadays. (They fit right over the bottom of a canteen, so don’t increase bulk at all if you’re using a canteen pouch.)

Bodytemp is disabled at the moment, so you must be using an old character. You’re cold being what used to be comfortable (500 units) is now far from the new comfortable (5000 units). You don’t get warmer, because temps are disabled.

Same goes for all bugs temperature related bugs at the moment. You have to remake your templates and start a new character. I don’t think there were ever bugs of this nature, so I don’t think the code needs to be commented out anymore.

Spawning option still isn’t there, I redownloaded, regenned the options by deleting it and starting cata again. Nothings working, I even tried opening it in a different software then notepad. It cuts out like this ‘# Spawn zombies at game start instead of during the game. You must create a new world after changing’ I don’t know how to fix this, please help!
Ignore this, I forgot you can change the options in the help menu in game. Keep in mind that the options text file is kinda broken.
