Can I somehow remove some of the weapons that, on my opinion, not quite suit the atmosphere? And how?
Dunno if you’re willing to do so, but I would love to see some vehicle turrets using russian ammo.
I mean, we got plenty of russian machineguns in this mod, so let’s expand their use.
Also, in case you don’t want to bother with it, maybe random_dragon can do something with that tank mod (although I’m afraid that might lead to dependencies and/or duplicates… maybe a submod? xD).
Kinda starting to wish I was more familiar with how the entities are coded in this game.

Hnng. Tempting, but last I checked this hasn’t been PR’d. It’s already dependent on Blazemod, which is going to be a clusterfuck when his pending update becomes a thing. :V
Atelerd, you can but you need to correct manually some .jsons in this mod.
Well guys, I finally sat my ass down and updated the mod (hence the new subject) and added 13 new guns! 4 of which are unique and have a very minute chance of spawning.

The weapons i’m talking about are kinda like Fallout’s unique guns. They have a name and some type of history. They also have a unique attachment, so you’ll know if you find one.

EDIT: In my defense, who would use the VSS as a CQB Rifle? Its got a scope bigger then the gun itself!

I was considering the weight issue, yeah. You’ll notice that the guns themselves are also generally a lot lighter than the real-world items they’re based on.
Big issue here is that too much weight will rapidly make things impractical in game terms. We don’t really have engines capable of handling all that weight, and I’d already encountered the issue of any diesel engine of displacement…about 900 or above, being deafening outright.
Plus it’s already a pain in the ass loading the gun one by one, even if I decided this was a worthwhile flavor detail. Making each round that heavy would quickly make them too heavy to lift, and we do not need to add “herpaderp use the / menu” to the list of things that’ll trip players up.
