Whitelisting and blacklisting items from pockets

So I haven’t played in a while so I’m probably just missing something simple but I can’t seem to get it to work. Unless you can’t actually reserve pockets for things? I just want to be able to holster my spear without having to take a cucumber out of my bow sling first

I feel you there. I’d also like to keep my hip flasks empty for something liquid…

Yeah, it looks like something maybe broke… I know that at least setting the priority used to work correctly not “to long” ago (Build version 10845), but now it doesn’t anymore (Build version 10907).
Unless I’m doing something wrong…

I’ve gone ahead and moved this topic over to the garage, maybe someone else has an idea on this.

I was going to post it there originally but I didn’t want to assume it was a bug, it makes sense though that it would be. Does make me feel a little better that I wasn’t just being dumb

I grow pretty weary of having to remove random sh!t from a gun holster that is not a gun. I go looking for a hotdog and find the thing in my gun holster when I need to swap guns and it kinda slows things down…ignoring how dumb that is. I shouldn’t have to whitelist such things to begin with.

Uh… Where else do you store your hotdogs? If it has the perfect shape for them, which it does, it must have been made for them!
I usually store them in a quick draw holster, in case I want to take a quick bite…
A toolbelt is the only alternative to a holster, but it tends to snaps them in half.
Don’t put them into your backpack. They’ll just break and get mushed under all your other stuff.

Now I want to draw a picture of a hardened survivor with a hotdog in a survivor harness. I guess when you’re in that deep a hotdog is something that you might keep near and dear/easily accessible…

“Well, I’m going to die right now. This horde is going to wreck me. Time to eat my (old) hotdog that I’ve been carrying for five days.”

Go for it! The Draw Your Cataclysms II topic could use more frequent updates, to be honest…

If you love something truly, you don’t let it go stale… I don’t think a hotdog would survive for that long around me…
Other than that, it sounds very accurate to me: Prefering to eat over drawing a grenade and pulling its pin (although, with two hands, nothings stops one from doing both)…
