What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

day 1, 5am. trying to master burning off the burnable tiles by the down-stairs in the shelter, poor sod random guy me fast-food restaurant worker succumbs to smoke inhalation while listening to his mp3 player. a k-9 waiting for him upstairs, it was not to be.

Decided to test out the “dig downstairs” feature. After creating my basement level, I descended and began using my Sonic Resonator to clear the terrain around me. Imagine my surprise when I resonated away some rock to find that an NPC had been there all along, buried alive. (He promptly got mad and told me to lower my weapon, but backed off after a stern talking to.)

Random NPC spawns are weird.

…Weirder still when I realize that NPCs don’t know how to use stairs, so he’ll be there forever.

Pfft nothing, I have had .50 shots reflect from SQUIRRELS

I’ve had point-blank shotgun blasts reflect off of a zombie child.
I wasn’t using birdshot, either.

I tried to open a bunker glass case with a line of paper and 4 Greandes and and an RPG… I used a paper line, didn’t spread, put paper ON the RPG, lit it, tried to run… Grenades went first, slowed me down, then the RPG goes… For fucks sake that thing killed me and it woulda killed me anywhere in that shithole.

Crossing a bridge in my new armored personnel carrier. A car is in my way, I have to ram it into the water in order to get across. My apc gets stuck somehow and the external fuel tanks explode. Had to raid at least 5 gas stations to fill them up, the explosion is HUGE, with an explosion radius of 10 blocks or so. Thank god it crashed the geme before it could kill me!

I was thinking that if you "a"ctivate an lighter in a fuel pump will make it explode in a few turns…
R.i.P, Robert Sean.

Second Day
Wake up and drink some lemonade. I go outside and find two NPCs. I decide to talk to the one attacking the giant fly, Lachlan. She asks me to put her mom out of her misery and I quickly do so. This is the first quest I have ever completed in Cata and I decide to look for her to see what happens when a quest is completed.

I find her swimming in the river for whatever reason and go to my base to wait for her to stop. When I come back she is about to start swimming again. I tell her of my deed and ask to learn something. She agrees and wants to take me somewhere else. I allow her to lead and she starts heading to the river!

I wonder what’s in that river that is so interesting.

sending you there to train on zombears probably, either that or zombie dogs

sending you there to train on zombears probably, either that or zombie dogs

That is the coolest and most terrifying thing I have seen.

She was killed by a zombie cop in a pawn shop however, trying to attack it with cargo shorts.

Found a magic artifact.

It summons giant bees.

Dropped the magic artifact in lava.

Does it now summon giant lava bees?

No, it no longer exists. However:

Found a new magic artifact.

The sky starts to dim.
You have a vision of the surrounding area…
A wave of nausea passes through you!
You throw up heavily!
The Cube of Frigid Illusion screams disturbingly.
You feel your body decaying.
You drop your Cube of Frigid Illusion on the lava.

And episode 3: found a Coat of Cursed Evil. Walked directly to the nearest mine and dropped it in the lava. Not even trying that one…

This likely concludes Alice’s Adventures with Magic for now. There were three mines and a temple within walking distance of each other, so I went adventuring, you see.

i had another one come up and attack me just before i made the fire, it was a common thing in that world

I have a glorious vision of a vehicle with a super long “prong” on the front of it with a full gas tank on there. To be used as a giant sized bangstick of doom.

But … the explosions really destroy entire city blocks? Holy crap.

[shadow=yellow, left][shadow=yellow, left]What if you had a 3x3 cube of fuel tanks all stacked with wood armour? Would they instantly explode killing [shadow=yellow,left]ANYTHING[/shadow] near the end?[/shadow][/shadow]
[shadow=red,left]P.S. Good luck reading it[/shadow]

Why does it use “They” for rings? Shouldn’t it be “It is the only one of its kind.”?[/spoiler]
