I love small additions like this that make things feel more alive. It really helps with immersion!!
Iâve wanted bomb disposal robots for ages. Would make harvesting minefields for their delicious gunpowder much safer.
Somewhere buried it was suggested trailers for vehicles, and mechanics for hitches, boats, that would be cool
I have a few ideas
Holding an item in each hand/with both hands. For example, holding a gun and a knife, a sword and a shield, using two hands for a baseball bat or polearm, dual wielding guns (rifles included) at a major accuracy penalty without superhuman strength (which can be achieved through bionics or mutations.)
Better stealth mechanics. Being able to sneak up on a zombie and stealth kill it would be dope, and incentivize players to play carefully. A lot of factors would go into determining how stealthy you are, such as light level, how bulky your clothes are, how much you are carrying, weather (rain would mask your footsteps), if you are wearing/holding anything shiny or reflective, etc.
EOD robots. Robots that can be used to render safe any traps/explosives. Clearing minefields would be much safer with one of these. Could spawn in SWAT trucks, police stations, or military vehicles/outposts.
The ability to load a bullet directly into the chamber of any standard gun. If you somehow have a gun with bullets, but no magazine, you can thumb load one cartridge at a time so you can still make use of your gun. You can also add an extra bullet in on top of a full magazine.
The ability to âmixâ ammunition in a magazine or belt. For example, making every 3rd or 5th bullet be a tracer round to increase full auto accuracy, or just mixing a bunch of loose bullets together so you can have a full magazine.
Bottles of Kewpie mayo and Sriracha sauce
Directional field of view , even if it was an optional thing, Iâd be happy if it was only on the player.
I know this has been suggested before. Just thought Iâd refloat the idea.
And how about an alien invasion, like Mars attacks lol.
Gnya Gnya we come in peace! While basting you with weapons. Maybe as random event?
How about driftwood? Logs that are either floating in deep water or âpartially submergedâ in the shallows that could only be spotted up close. They could even drift in moving water, possibly causing log jams.
Been 6 months since I been around. So forgive me if this is been posted already.
Put simple, this crazy guy and his archery awesome:
Check his latest iterations.
Also this for references of interesting stuff, such as anomalous world space additions in rare areas:
Yeah, also because free and fun right, so why not share =D
(but seriously, portals and anomalies aroud certain labs and damaged world space areas with strange mutantsâŚcould be cool).
I was actually hoping that on Christmas eve, a small piece of paper would spawn in my backpack that I could use a permanent marker on, to secretly write down âan arc welderâ. I would them stuff it in my wooliest sock and drop it on top of my fireplace (without fire of course) and I would then go to sleep thinking happy thoughts.
And later that night, a bearded fetid corpse in a decrepit red and white suit would drop down my chimney and chase me around the house giving me the scare of a lifetime, but off his rotten and mangled corpse I would pilfer my most prized item of all⌠the arc welder I had always wished forâŚ
And each time I welded a new chunk of steel onto my war machine, I would smile, knowing I was able to do it only because I was a good boy.
That is a funny visual thanks for the chuckle
I am not sure I even want this idea as a reality, but I thought of it and decided to share.
I often find myself in Chitin Armour. It is light and pretty effective. Maybe introduce a drawback to this, like a very small chance of contracting something like a parasite. Something in line with the description of mutated meat.
( âThere are strange tangles and formations in it that donât appear natural at all: bits of bone and hair crusted up inside the muscle, as if trying to form another organism.â )
eg.
chitin rash - âsome small pieces of chitin have flaked of and have been causing a little irritation on your skinâ
chitn rash 2 - âyour chitin rash has worsened with strange tangles and formations which have rooted like parasites into your skin, as if trying to form another organism, causing mild pain and extreme irritationâ
It would add a drawback to chitin with a nice bit of creep factor that matches the mutant bugs new meat.
I think C:DDA really needs to lock most of the butchering abilities behind a new âsurgeryâ skill. Most people donât have experience working in a slaughterhouse, and some canât even carve a turkey right, even after all the giblets have been conveniently packaged for them.
Available at Surgery 0:
Dismember corpse (trivial at: 1)
Reduces a corpse to butchery refuse. Marginally faster and much quieter than bashing corpses to a pulp, but requires a tool with the Butchery quality.
Available at Surgery 1:
Quick butchery (trivial at: 2)
Hastily carves up a corpse. For when you want to recover something, but donât have time or tools for a full butchery.
Full butchery (trivial at: 3)
Completely disassembles a corpse. Products are many and varied, but requires a butcher rack or young tree and rope, and either a table or tarpaulin, within crafting range, in addition to a tool with butchering quality.
Available at Surgery 2:
Field dress corpse (trivial at: 3)
Removes organs from a corpse or skinned corpse, lightening the resulting carcass and lengthening the time before it spoils.
Skin corpse (trivial at: 3)
Removes the skin/hide from a corpse or carcass, producing a raw hide or pelt. Skinned corpses spoil faster, but for some particularly large corpses the skin may be all you can carry.
Quarter corpse (trivial at: 3)
Divides a corpse, skinned corpse, or carcass into four parts, for easier transport. Quarters produce significantly less than a quarter of what a whole corpse produces, and spoil faster besides, but in some cases this may be the only way to transport the body.
Amputate (trivial at: 3)
Cleanly but permanently removes a limb, from yourself or an unconscious/restrained target. Normally used as an emergency measure for dealing with an intractably infected limb before it kills the owner. Can fail, particularly in the case of self-amputation without painkillers, which leaves the limb effectively broken (zero hit points) and still infected.
Available at Surgery: 3
Dissect Corpse (trivial at: 6)
Requires a tool with Fine Cutting. Surgically disassembles the corpse, retrieving bionics or blob mutations present, but destroying everything else, even the bones.
Debride (trivial at: 4)
Requires a tool with Fine Cutting. Damages an infected body part to remove an infecton that can no longer be cauterized or disinfected. Can be used on the head and torso, but at risk of killing the patient if the health of said body part is reduced to zero before the infected tissue is fully excized. Limbs at zero HP canât be debrided, but can be healed to make another attempt, if they can be healed before the infection kills the patient.

Make it so that boats can go under bridges this would make rivers and lakes in to more than just obsticals and would openup completely new playstyles and movement options.
-
Allow us to fire the artillery and tanks that we can find around the map.
-
Improve animals AI to make them attracted to certain food items and crops to make them more of a nucence and give you the ability to actively lure them. Also give them the ability to move around the map like hordes do and move away form other monsters so that they donât stay in one spot but you need to actively track and persue them to get a kill. This would make hunting much more of a challange and more immersive.
-
Make it so that human corpses that spawn as map extraâs donât start out fresh after a certain amount of time has passed but instead are always rotten by the time summer roles around or replace them with skeletons since the flesh should have rotten of by that point and the corpses should have been scavenged by animals. Maybe have a few fresh human corpses around but give them survivor loot and degrade the loot on the corpses that spawn later on to refect that they have been laying there in the weather and animals would have torn them up while scavenging them.

Also why does gracken give demihuman returns shouldnât that be limited to magicalysm creatures only? not nethercreatures.
The majority of rifles being AR-15s, ammo cans, other 5.56 loads (e.g. M193, M995), cannon shell IEDs, and this may be in already but Iâd love to be able to put a tank of gas next to an explosive and have it burst the container and set the area on fire.
Adding actual guts and intestines, these can be used to make sausages so you donât have to rely on stumachs al the time.
for the record I still like replacesing parts of my body with weaponry
#Buff the Blaster
but also an electronic Chainsaw cbm would be cool I guess
Zombie Clowns. I know. It is stupid. But if you think about it. People dress up at parties and fair ground events and holloween. Also New Years Eve.
Do we needit? Not really. But the more diverse the game. The more random the game shall appear.
Commercial drones like we have in real life. Could have camera attachment for scouting, a noise maker for louring monsters away or into things, a mini flamethrower to set things on fire or a timed or remote detonated small explosive on it.
if it isnât in the game yet, opening and closing doors silently might be nice, for raiding houses at night
