Only 40mph!
Mine can hit 360mph, and yes it drinks fuel like crazy at that speed but that’s what having to V12 does.
Ah, I miss my solar-powered road roller converted into a bastardized RV. I called it the Holy Roller. o3o
There’s a ‘Praise The Sun’ joke in there somewhere, I just know it.
Ave Sol. squish
Wait a sec, everyone. Are you guys telling me that now fuel/electricity/water is no longer seen as a %, but as amount/max amount?
This is a thing now? Aw hell yes.
You need to turn on Debug mode to see the amount/max amount.
Oh. ;A;

I think you missed the part where it was solar.
I did put a lot of large electric motors on it, but then I ran into battery problems despite my 18 quantum solar panels.
You can NEVER have enough solar panels. It’s like dakka.
Whenever i get over 20 miles an hour the game seems to slow, Do bigger vehicles do the same thing?
Well I decided that this stationary “vehicle” base is good enough to showcase.
Top left half is the crafting room with all of the vehicle mounted tools hooked up the system as well as several of the construction such as water well and metal charcoal kiln; it also is next to my garage with additional extended welding rig so I can outfit my other vehicles or even charge it up once my batteries hit 100%.
Top right contains non-crafting stuff, mostly books, morale boosters, and rare items such as power armor; the room at the very top right corner is for me to sleep.
The bottom half is solely for farming.
You can see the yellow # cluster at the middle containing all of my solar panels to power the whole thing. It also houses all of the batteries as well.
Note that this is my first version of the stationary base built so it can be improved. Aside from adding turrets and possibly making it more modular, anyone else can think of something to add?
I dare you to slap wheels on it and see if it’ll move.
It doesn’t since part of its structure actually surrounded a pair of mechanical winches. If I do remove that part, I am sure that it can but that also means leaving behind everything since the vehicle base actually has no floor (4000 volume floor beats 1000 volume cargo carrier)…
CAN NPCs RIDE WITH THE PC IN HIS CAR???
Heard something about them getting crushed.
where is best place to hunt for large electric motors?
Sadly, I’ve only ever had good luck just scavenging them from electric cars.

in they lastest experimentals, if they are followers (travelling together) they do ride along.
They get in but sometimes they will fail to find a car seat and will probably end up dead if you drive while they in the door frame…
Have to say, I’m loving the vehicles addition pack.
My current crowning glory was the usual solar-powered survivor deathmobile studded with laser turrets.
Nothing special really, but it’s given me ideas for the next one.
Parked out front in between a military outpost and a Mall blaring music, banging the horn and smoking a joint.
Nothing made it close, so I started tossing in a few grenades and some tear gas just to pass the time.
'Twas Glorious.
