Vehicle Show and Tell

I was lucky enough to stumble across an armored car immediately upon exiting the evac shelter. The game said all it was missing was gas–I DISAGREED.

I love the shape

Look like an armored locomotive of DESTRUCTION

How about this one?

I… I think I made that. In KSP.

Reminds me of KSP.

Sometime tomorrow I will finish my greatest vehicle yet: the Ryndren Mobile Command Center (or RMC) for now, I do not have pictures or stats but I will leave you with this…

To the dev who upped maximum vehicle size you have my eternal praise and thanks; I must now return to cannibalizing a city to build the RMC.

EDIT: IT IS FINISHED.

THE RYNDREN MOBILE COMMAND CENTER (RMCC)

Weighing in at 28,331 LBS with all of it’s tanks empty, 37,631 LBS with it’s tanks full and no cargo, I estimate it can exceed 25 Tons with the right cargo, possibly more.
Top Safe Speed of 131 MPH, engines redlined (and frankly the frame would probably split.) 1460 MPH
Acceleration: 13 MPH Per Turn
Wheels: 42 28" Wide Wheels
Fuel Consumption: 52 Units Gasoline per Turn (A little over a quarter of a gallon), 7 Units Energy per Turn
Fuel Capacity: 72 Gallons or 144,000 Units
Battery Capacity: 40,000 Batteries or 4,000,000 Units
Hydrogen Capacity: 36,000 Units
Clean Water Capacity: 1,200 Gallons or 12,000 Units

Attached in the front is the closest thing I could come to for making a plow. it’s insane length means turning will be more or less impossible, so the only solution is of course to go though whatever might be in my path. I can’t wait to drive it. Took the better part of an entire city to build the damned thing.

HOLY MOTHER OF ELDRICH GODS

You might have the award or the biggest vehicle ever.

DAMNZ

I’ve build vehicles worthy of having the theme Move Bitch I’ve built (okay once.) a fast moving vehicle.

Now I’ve built one that THIS is the fitting theme song.

It’s worth mentioning it can move with the twin Large Electric Engines, just enough for me to roll it up to the nearby gas station. That said it might just be faster for me to carry around the needed parts to make a “Gas cart” because this thing is gonna be an incredible pain in the ass to keep fueled.

Time to begin my never ending quest for fuel. XD

EDIT: Broke it already (okay got killed), built a new one, bigger, better… slower.

Ten V8 Engines and Ten Large Electric Motors can only get it to 102 MPH, probably less.

Top Redlined Speed: 1505 MPH (Though I suspect the engines will explode long before it even gets close to this)
Acceleration: 10 MPH a turn
Wheels: 62 Wide Wheels, just to support the damn back section.
Empty Weight: 35125 LBS, Apx 17.5 Tons
Loaded Weight: 35778 LBS, could easily exceed 50,000 LBS With solid cargo.
Gas Capacity: 144 Gallons (288000 Units)
Clean Water Capacity: 1200 Gallons (12000 Units)
Power Capacity: 1600 Batteries (1,600,000 Units)
Fuel useage: 82 Gasoline / 35 Power Per Turn at 102 MPH

I need stronger engines.

Does that thing have an area code or a license plate? Great job Ryndren–maybe if I feed my car plenty of rebar it will grow up big and strong just like yours.

Speaking of…

Tasty hard plating center wrapped in the spiked plating shell kids love!

Had to chop up part of my reinforced windshield to keep my solar panels from breaking every time I sneezed–the hunt for a replacement pane continues!

Had to burn down a city for it. Only problem now is my laptop’s CPU can’t take it when the damned thing moves, oh well, it’ll keep me from trying to navigate a 2 map tile long vehicle though a city… Though with a high enough driving skill I’m pretty sure I can drive it through a city.

I present…

El LOCO-motive

Main Features include:

*Armored cockpit with forward facing escape hatch–perfect for taking potshots while screaming down the highway hundreds of miles an hour or for quick disembark and entry.
*Side mounted welding rigs and electric forges with sliding doors for easy access.
*The Captain’s Cobalt Cabin, a jazzy little place to relax in the cataclysm with soft blue lighting and sturdy reinforced glass windows. Offers stow away privacy screen for when you just want to be alone.
*Reinforced solar panels feed into a hefty array of large electric engines and storage batteries–because it’s never too late to reduce your carbon footprint!
*Oodles of storage room

What’s left to do:

Attach dedicated turret car

Rear facing cockpit to eliminate the need to turn this monstrosity around
*Side cockpit for parallel parking
*FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP MY OOZE LAMPS ALIVE!
Find quite a few literal tons of superalloy plating for engine interior

Figure out how storage batteries, truck batteries and car batteries stack up side-by-side; use the best one exclusively.

Ekarus, you have some competition.

Nah, RMCC’s bigger, bit more practical of a vehicle too. Though some helpful tips for Logrin: Hard Plating is easier to make and can take more damage but weighs more than Superalloy. Also make sure when you’re adding electric engines to keep an eye on the speed, I’ve found that after a while the vehicle weighs more than electric engines can pull. (…I really need V12 Engines) As far as keeping your blobs alive, sadly I don’t think that’s possible, trying putting a seat under them, maybe that’ll help.

Though till I can find a PC with a better CPU I suppose it’s open season on vehicles XD

That said, your vehicle is pretty impressive, never really saw a use for non-standard shapes on vehicles personally but still, pretty cool.

Hybrid vehicle, spiked plating all around, blades in front, used as a mobile fortress.
7 storage containers
1 large electric engine
1 gasoline engine (V8)
5 solar panels
8 batteries & 2 tanks

I have gone totally the other way now, I found a Golf cart and tricked it out into a 2x3 loot runner and have been absolutely loving living light and being able to do 80 through town.

I’m trying to build something for just pure speed.

Hell it’s more like a rocket with a seat duct-taped on to it.(it’s all fun and games until you hit a wreck at 1.2k km/h, and end up being flung into orbit.

Wanted more V8 engines on it but I can’t debug my skill past 20 and to install 1 more I need(ed) 21.

Finally a chance to use my debug skills for good.

Debug(?, I use Z)->Skills(a)->scroll down to mechanics->Hold down the right arrow key until you have reached your desired amount.

the train and RMC are insane. my car building philosphy is more practical it cant be wider than a bridge, and has to be able to make turns in the city at like 20-30km/h so mine dont get bigger than an RV or bus.
