Trying to download the game onto my laptop, but every time I click run it loads for a second then nothing happens

what’s the name of the file you downloaded? should be something like “cataclysmdda-0.D-8846.zip”
also, what OS are you running?

Running the launcher or the game? I couldn’t get the launcher to work on my PC either, the game started up just fine after I made an exclusion with my antivirus. It’s fairly easy to manually download the latest version from https://cataclysmdda.org

Got the launcher to work by right clicking and troubleshooting compatibility, needed to be set to Windows compatibility mode: Windows 8
