Reading To Serve Man and it bringing a morale drop makes sense because your reading about how to cook a human being. But I don’t think it makes sense for it to drop the morale of characters with the cannibal trait. Having problems learning how to cook what I plan to eat doesn’t make sense.
It’s not that he’s sad for reading all the tasty recipes , it’s probably because nobody likes to read instructions in the apocalypse and he has no friends to check out if the recipes are worth it.
No hes sad because hes reading about how to cook something hes not going to see very often until he figures out how to work the evil debug menu (I WANT IT REMOVED I HAVE NO SELFCONTROLL!!!) 
Well we did make it so that it wasn’t bound to any keys by default…
