Wait, doen´t that mean about 1 day of not sleeping per cup of atomic coffee?
I´ve had a whole bunch when I first found the atomic cofeemaker, gotta be more careful with that stuff i guess :D
This was me when I bought an espresso machine in college.
Fun fact, if you plow into a horde with your turrets active and get killed, the turrets keep shooting after you die <3
A control laptop used on a Tank Drone is AWESOMESAUCE.
I love him now as much as I used to hate them. He’s like an having the Terminator as a friend.
Also, Elf-A causes turrets and bots and stuff (but not skitterbots or manhacks, interestingly) to also regard you as not human, for those looking for an option to alpha as a human appearing apocalyptic superhero of death.
And does anyone know what the (totally sweet) menu options for turrets are for? I don’t see a difference between 1 and B, although I’m guessing single shot and burst.
Seeing spices and powders being in bottles makes me want to organize my stash and collect them into larger containers and such, but I haven’t found a way to do this.
Somehow I’ve managed to survive more than one day (not a clue how) but have got a problem. I keep getting the message that my joints ache and I’ve got no idea what it means and all i know about it is that my character is now in unbearable pain constantly. Tried taking aspirin to subside the effects but doesn’t work. I’m going to try and get something like antibiotics and see if it’s an illness but unless i’m missing a really easy fix i’m screwed.
After continuing for 5 more days it got to the point where my character couldn’t and wouldn’t sleep. I debugged in 150 antibiotics and took all of them, which didn’t work. After i spawned in anything that had the word ‘anti’ in it (except for the panties. Don’t think they would get rid of an illness very well) and taking some antiparasitic medication worked! Now i can continue my game with the only problem of my character wakes up at night and sleeps once the morning arrives.
Is there anything I can do with wool clothing? I got an evac shelter with a ton of items in the basement and I’ve been taking it slowly(I HATE thunderstorms, it’s kind of crap you can’t read or craft in them) getting ready for raiding some stores in town, but I have a huge pile of wool clothing I can’t disassemble or anything. I guess I can just throw it in a locker or outside, but it’s bugging me.
Wool can be cut up if you’re playing experimentals. In stable you can’t do much, I think.
Diesel is quite rare. If the map rotation bug is fixed (it seems to be), you can get it from rare diesel pumps on gas stations. Other sources of diesel are rare road rollers, even rarer military vehicles and a recipe that produces a glass of diesel per 6 fluid sacs or so and takes quite a bit of time.

Is it currently not possible?
Not entirely sure if it works with salt and such, but have you tried selecting it in your inventory and then hitting U to unload it? Should bring up your containers and let you put it in one of those. It works with everything else, so I think it’ll work with that.

I do that with liquids, but cant fims a way to put anything else into container. Would love to make gunpowder kegs
Oh, you mean to get loose stuff back into containers. That I’m not sure about, haven’t tried it yet. May not be in the code. I think it would be a fairly simple to add in though. Might post it over on the ‘quick idea’ thread.
Should just need to respond to the unload command as if it were already in a container, making sure that at the end of the transfer or a failed transfer, it realizes that there isn’t a container in the first place.
Is it possible to disassemble stuff on the ground without picking it up, similiar to how butchering bodies work?
I can’t disassemble a riot police bot since it is way too heavy to wield it without not being overburdened.
Yes; drop it, take all the required tools, and press B while being over it. It’ll direct you to the “butchering” menu, which covers things you can disassemble with the tools you have.
Got it, tried by doing so before but didn’t work because i had all the tools near me and thought that was enough, instead i must have them in my inventory.
So, I’m playing with static spawns(because trying to clear a zone only to find it repopulated with Zeds soon after doesn’t sound like fun to me) and I wondered if this makes other creatures(animals and the like) work along those same rules, as the setting specifically mentions zombies.(and I wouldn’t mind some more wandering food supplies)
