i just installed this game today, and i honestly enjoyed and i have a partner on this game, i hope he’s not going to die

Glad you installed the game and welcome to the community! Cataclysm has gone through tons of changes and likely has many more to go through. I’m sure if you stick with it, you’ll never get bored. And if you do, that’s what the modding community is for. A crazier cataclysm lol.

Welcome! I’ve been playing Cataclysm DDA since it began in 2013, but only 10 years later do I join this community with intentions of working on regional mods putting New England into focus, and I will also be helping develop a Canada regions mod, and be a dev for India/South Asian countries and regions as well.
