Russian mobile base

I can’t think of anything to say that does this creation justice, so I’ll just post the picture and the text that went along with it, plus a link.

A rather odd Russian ground vehicle – a body of a DM62-1727 locomotive mounted on a heavily modified MAZ-543 chassis (nicknamed the Uragan – Ураган / Hurricane – a distinct vehicle from the BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launcher, which is based on the ZIL-135 chassis).

Each wheel of this hybrid vehicle was designed to be individually driven by means of electric motors, although work on the machine was never finished.

It was equipped with hydraulic steering for most of the wheels. The large storage boxes attached to the vehicle’s side hold the accumulators (electric capacitors) and hydraulic oil.

It has a flat.

You need a jack with lifting capactity of 12 or Strength 253 to replace this tire.
