Just got the Railgun bionic on my knife-thrower, and thought I’d have fun with it.

The lightning effect is neat, but I’m not getting either range or damage boosts out of it.

Experimenting with stuff other than throwing knives says that the range is because I’m range-capped with the throwing knives, but the complete lack of damage bonus is disappointing.

Railgun doubles only the bashing damage, which is capped by item’s weight.

Guess that’s one less bionic for me to look forward to in the future, then.
