So if I want to give my spike mobile more than one v6 engine, do those engines need to have exactly the same volume?
Or would giving it a 3.85l and a 4.03l engine work just fine?
Also, does each engine need their own battery for ignition or will one engine’s spark chainstart the rest?

Nope, engines don’t need the same volume :).
All you need is one charged battery in your vehicle to start all of your engines- it doesn’t even matter where it is. As long as there’s one battery somewhere in your vehicle (even if it’s 20 tiles away from your engines), you can start it. Hope this helps
