Power armor not protecting from electrical discharges

A tank bot managed to taze me when wearing an activated power armor. I also got some arm damage while fighting a shocker (maybe shocker brute) while wearing a heavy power armor.

The electrical damage doesn’t work 100% of the time, but it still works sometimes, although, as i understand it, power armor should make me immune to electricity.

I vaguely recall something similar. Using the dielectric capacitance cbm, and I still get damaged by skitterbot tazers. Vaguely sure that it still protected me from other shocks like the ones that come from lab computers and hitting shockers with a metal weapon.
