I have to admit I’m kind of confused at the requirement for copper tubing for most reloads. I hand load (9mm, .45 acp, .45 colt and .454 casull in pistol, 7.62x54r, .223, and .308 in rifle) and I’ve never had to use any. The only thing I can think of is in actual jacketing/plating of bullets, or the manufacture of gas checks, but since both are fairly complex processes that require specialized equipment and machining tools I fail to see how it applies to reloading in game. Of course if we actually had to go and find (or cast, which would require molds, and a tool for sizing, and a lube compound) bullets of the correct size/weight/composition/shape I suspect it would become needlessly complex.
