Make it so it so that i am not asked whether i want to clear this rubble in front of me or not. I came here shovel in hand with clear intentions.
Yeah, that’s certainly a needful and a simple change.
Also did the same for crates, because anyone who has ever crowbarred a lot of crates knows how tedious it can get.
Probably horrible to implement, and I haven’t checked the new release, so apologies if this is already a thing. It would be nice if there was an indicator for whether something was foldable or not in the vehicle construction menu. Maybe a little coloured “F” next to its name. It would also be useful to know if an item had dependencies, such as requiring a power-source or fluid tank in order to attain full utility.
Data on volume capacity and structural integrity would also be nice.
We NEED ridable animals!
My religious fanatic (basically a priest gone a bit funny in head after seen his followers beign eaten) needs a fanatic-perk!
The current ones aren’t quite enough, looking for something that basically makes you harder the crazier you are.

+infinity to this. Especially foldability.

All my yes to the crates too.

On that note. Last time I checked non-foldable parts can go on a foldable vehicle. I ended up having to manually go through the wiki page to try to figure out what parts have the foldable tag.
there needs to be space stations and such so you can play zombies in space… your in a zombie infested space station, how long can you keep the systems running.
It would be nice if you could use the survival marker through the % action menu. I think it would make it a much nicer item for daily use.
I don’t know if this would actually be easy, but I think a ‘Back-to-Back’ type Trait could be nice. You get a bonus to hit and dodge if you’re standing next to a friendly NPC.
Claustrophobic , when nearly surrounded 80% by walls or enemys you get penaltys like shaking and losing actions
Working on it.
-
The ability to look at or examine a fire to get an estimate of how long it will burn for without additional fuel.
-
Popup dialogs that can be escaped out of with ‘q’ (example: new butchering menu) should also be escaped out of with ‘Esc.’
-
Automatically unload unloadable items before using them in a recipe. The last time I built a FOODCO, it must have eaten half of my batteries in the process.
Anyone suggest a Tow hitch yet?
Pulling a trailer would be awesome. But unless your ‘really’ good at backing a trailer IRL, backing up in Cata DDA would be even more of a pain.
Either way it still would be a nice way to have a big RV and pull a smaller one etc.

Repeatedly, and it’s not simple, thanks.
What about a vehicle teleporter to bring your scout-vehicle to your land-barge?
Or maybe a vehicle-mounted vehicle assembler/disassembler?
Didn’t read through the entire thread so this might have already been suggested. We need some sort of stealth system, perhaps a menu that comes up where you can choose to either be in a standing, crouching, or prone state. You would be harder to detect in crouching or prone but also slower.
Yep, repeatedly, not simple, and thanks to these sorts of not-entirely-lazy posts, the thread is long enough that folks kinda have reason to not read it. >_<
Meh, It was doomed from the very start, the few good forum ideas are often good enough to warrant their own topics.
And the concept of basic doesn’t exist in the internet, unless you use it to refer to something you actually made yourself.
