The song’s actually quite good though.

Wait, e-ink readers are actually useful? Thought they were just flavor…

YAMI (Yet another minor issue), create a way for NPC’s to switch weapons using combat commands (so you can trade for their weapons lol). Also, is it possible to heal NPC’s?

Flashlight
Power consumption: 1 per tick
Light radius: like 20 blocks

Cranial Flashlight
Power consumption: 1 per tick
Light radius: like 5 blocks

I’m pretty sure that batteries and bionic power are the same now, so what gives? I only used to use Cranial Flashlight to attract monsters at night, but now that I lost all my night vision, I need it to navigate in the dark. Cranial Flashlight needs a buff.

Isn’t flashlight range dependant on battery amount?

A flashlight with 200 battery shines further than one with 100.

Yes, and by that logic, a cranial flashlight with 500k power should outshine the sun.

i always thought that a cranial falshlight would look tardy so i never installed it and went with the wearable flashlight instead.

Actually, it would be about 4E26 Watts of power…

Still, that’s a lot of light. Cranial flashlights need a buff.

i thought of the cranial flashlightas a smaler version of a handheld flashlight. cause who would want an actual size flashlight in therecranium? Makes sense that a smaler ligth source would produce less light. Maybe half the light radius of the normal flashlight?

YAMI, please add an option for adding more fuel to a fire (if fuel is nearby) when the flame is almost out. Its very annoying to constantly have to relight a fire. Also what are the mechanics for fires anyway? How does fire-time measure up against type and number of fuel? Right now I’m using skewers, are logs or sticks etc. better?

A survival-skill based ability to tell roughly how long a fire is going to last when you look at it would be neat and useful.

That’s a great idea.

To me it seems like no matter how much 2 by 4 i toss into a fire it always burns out equally fast thus i only use 1 and relight when needed. a skill to display when i need to do this or automatic fuel adding when needed and toggled active would be apreciated.

One can already drop more fuel onto a fire. A more useful thing would be if after a fire went out there were embers which lasted maybe 8 hours, and if you put something small like paper, sticks, or tallow it would start a small fire which you could dump large stuff on. If you could craft or find a bellows, you could maybe set it up next to a fireplace, and apply it to start large objects on fire from embers. Maybe a craft menu option to aerate a fire if bellows are in inventory/nearby. Embers could be traversed if your feet aren’t bare. If you have Shaolin martial arts or something you can walk on them barefoot.

But that doesn t work correctly. I tried and sometimes you putanother 2 by 4 on the fire and it burns out within the next few minutes. Embers won t last that long… and the re lighting that way is equally or more tedious then just relighting with asurvivqal tool or lighter. Don t like it.

I figured that small fire was like an emberish blaze anyways.

Make smoke stop spreading after i closed off the source.

Isn’t the effect only the smoke dissipating? As in a thick black smoke will dissipate and spread to neighboring tiles as thin smoke etc.

No as soon as theres a smoke tile on doortile the smoke will go through aclosed door as if it wasn t there. (at least up to the last time i did that)

for example i set fire in a room in a lab all doors arround where closed. I leave the roomsome smoke reaches thedoor i close it and it spreads from there over 3 additional rooms untill i had it cut of byclosing another door before it reached it.
