There should probably also be a penalty for causing someone to become hostile to you. “That bozo disrespected my threads!”
Additionally, if one of the few remaining members of your once-and-future civilisation are hostile to you, for any reason, that probably ought to be somewhat dismal on its own… “Someone wanted to kill me today.”
It would be nice if the “goes down” auto-note was something other than a white “>”. I constantly mistake houses for right-facing pawn shops in the current game.
You could just use the key that sets the notes etc to flash rather than be still images. Then you can see the difference.[/quote]I mean on the minimap.
it can be rather handy, Though not nearly as handy as mini-maps normally are, given that we already have a entity direction indicator. I still think its a huge plus for cataclysm though.
I like it because the entity direction indicator only shows creature outside your view range. In woods etc, it is sometime hard to spot creature on the background. The minimap let me playCataclysm rather than “Where is Waldo the Foose”?
Needed: this stupid drag-able vehicle issue fixed, I should never pull diagonally away from a cart adjacent and end up with it suddenly underneath me, and having slowed my advancement to the now current tile. Also probably related: the vehichle you just made is instantly error-ed out of existence, and sometimes carts crash the game when you try to pull them issues.
or now with mini, you can just glance, and not have to scroll around to figure out where it is your looking at. But yeah, more options to do the same thing = better/ more intuitive.
Exactly. I love the minimap. Also to give you a better idea when you have a mass on zeds, of where exactly to fleet through gap in the horde and so on.
I’m not exactly sure about this, but a quick google search tells me that the Police uniforms in New England tend to be blue/black in colour. However, the description of the sheriff’s shirt explicitely mentions that it’s tan in colour, which always struck me as more of a South/West thing. So I’d suggest to either change that or drop the line about colour completely.
Also, maybe make the sheriff’s shirt spawn in Police stations. Right now, the only(!) instance of this item is available to the Police Officer start.
And while we’re at the topic of cop clothing, it would probably make sense to add a Windbreaker or some light jacket to the Police Officer start. I guess it would be reasonable to assume that cops still wear jackets in early spring. Maybe switch out the army pants that this profession gets for something with lower storage to balance it.
Hmm. Well Quickdraw, Maybe the Sheriff was brought in from the west STOP. to help with crime in the east STOP. Or maybe he just has a Southern flair/ aptitude
no… your probably right and it should just change…
hmmm, to add to my previous suggestion for power armor component drops.
Power Zombie. super rare, like, more point cost then hulks. are a trained power armor operating soldier that got an infected wound before they could get into their armor (which as we know you need to be naked before you can put it on) but killed the attacker and got in before dying to infection. should spawn near military vehicle (power armor transport or something) and have several zombie corpses around them (what they killed before the infection got them). they have completely nutso defense and have power assisted punches. drops should be high chance for a component and low chance for nothing. this is due to the fact you have to hit them hard enough to breach the armor to kill them, so you have to destroy the suit around them before it will die.
