Makeshift funnels in experimental version

In version 0.8-798-gc4aec66 it seems that makeshift funnels have a bug.
This bug seems to be that when one has one set up, logs off and then back on the funnel despawns, leaving no item behind. This seems not to affect the map time, or any other item on the tile, just the funnel.

Wow, that’s a new one.
I assume by log off/log on you mean 'S’ave and exit, then load your save? If you close the window/terminal I expect flakiness.
Does it happen if you exit the program in between?
Does it happen if you don’t exit the program in between?
