Make welding in acid rain impossible

Hello,

I just lost a highly skilled character (10 electronics, 8 mechanics, …) because of a really stupid death: I was welding in acid rain. For some reason I was not paying attention, got slowed down a lot by pain (I think) and a few key-presses later I was dead before I even knew what happened.

If it would not have been possible to weld in acid rain, I would not have lost this character and all the hours invested in it.

So my suggestion would be to disable welding in acid rain by default. You will save someones life.

Didn’t you see the ‘you were hurt, stop reading?’ message?

Yes, I just didn’t realize in time what was happening.
The same message often appears for ‘tired’ and ‘wet’ which are fairly harmless.

I was just smashing keys, suddenly I was dead, and only then I realized what happened.

If the game is asking you

Acid rain. Do you want to continue to read Y/N
It is almost the same like asking
Do you want to die Y/N

And the game should not ask that IMHO. It should just stop welding.
At least it should ask you again each time the acid rain hurts you.

You are hurt, continue reading? Y/N
You are hurt, continue reading? Y/N
You are hurt, continue reading? Y/N
…
You die

I know this is a minor issue, but it might just save some characters from a really really stupid death.
