Hi there,

I’m one of the devs involved in implementing translation support for Cataclysm-DDA. I noticed that the Russian translation on Launchpad is going well. Nice work :).

I’m thinking of making Launchpad the official place for Cataclysm-DDA translations, but I noticed that there is also a Chinese translation group using a slightly different name. I think https://translations.launchpad.net/cataclysm-dda is a good place for both Russian and Chinese groups, and i’d like to start a French translation there as well.

Is this easy to do? What do the Russian translators think about making that the place for official translations? Can we add some more maintainers from the other translation groups? I have no experience with Launchpad Translations, so i’m not sure how easy or hard it is to combine all the groups.

Sorry for the English. I don’t know any Russian at all. If someone could translate for me that would be great.

Легко ли будет это устроить? Что думают русские переводчики о том, чтобы сделать то место официальным для переводов? Можно ли сюда добавить переводчиков из других групп? У меня нет опыта работы по переводу на Launchpad-е, потому я не уверен, сложно или легко будет объединить все эти группы.

Простите за английский. Я совсем не знаю русского. Будет здорово, если кто-то сможет перевести это для меня.

У ресурса статус Open, если хотят, пусть пробуют добавить свой язык, да переводят.

That’s what I was thinking at first, but I’d also like to set up an official code mirror, as well as ensuring maintainer access to everything. Well in the end I added yet another launchpad CDDA project. This way I can set up an official CleverRaven account or group, and link everything up to that. It seems quite easy to share the translations around anyway, so we can worry about merging the projects later :).

Сначала об этом же и подумал, но мне бы хотелось настроить зеркало на официальный код, обеспечив полный доступ ведущим проекта. Ну, в конце концов я добавил ещё один CDDA проект на Launchpad. Так я могу настроить официальный CleverRaven аккаунт или группу, и всё с ней связать. Кажется, что “делиться” переводами не так уж и сложно, так что мы может решить вопрос с объединением проектов позже :slight_smile: .
