si infatti all’inizio ho messo “bossoli” poi per farla piu fashion ho pensato di lasciare " caseless" anche perchè ho chiesto ad un paio di amici militari come li chiamano nella vita di tutti i giorni e mi hanno risposto caseless! voi che dite? che facciamo?
Inoltre dobbiamo fare attenzione nel tradurre la stessa parola nelle varie frasi sempre allo stesso modo. Es. shotgun, a volte è tradotto shotgun a volte fucile a volte fucile a pompa. Io lo lascerei shotgun direttamente tanto anche in italiano si usa ed è specifico per quel fucile.

Sto andando avanti nel rivedere le traduzioni passate e correggere quelle nuove, ma non riesco a decidermi su una cosa, quindi la posto qui.
L’inglese è più ambiguo a riguardo il genere e numero delle cose (the, of al contrario dei nostri articoli/preposizioni che ne sono dipendenti.
Ci sono purtroppo alcune frasi che dipendono fortemente su queste cose, es.
You can’t do anything interesting with your %s. (riferendosi all’[oggetto] selezionato dal proprio inventario)
You remove the broken %s from the %s. (riferendosi alla [parte] rimossa dal [nome del veicolo])
Il problema è che se si lasciano così come sono suoneranno parecchio male in certi contesti, es.
Non puoi fare nulla di interessante con il tuo sciarpa
Hai rimosso il batteria dal bicicletta
Io invece tradurrei le frasi come:
Non puoi fare nulla di interessante con %s (es. Non puoi fare nulla di interessante con sciarpa) e
Hai rimosso la parte %s dal veicolo %s (es. hai rimosso la parte batteria dal veicolo bicicletta)
Vorrei cercare di evitare articoli/preposizioni ove possibile, dato che per me suona meglio? Che ne dite? Comincio ad incontrare sempre più stringhe in cui persiste questo problema, e pensavo di trasformarle così.
Si è un problema di cui gia ne abbiamo accennato l’esistenza purtroppo. La soluzione da te proposta mi sembra la più sensata, male per male, almeno nel modo che hai proposto è un po’ meno macchinosa la questione. Eliminiamo sti articoli maledetti e pace.
io ho provato a cercare anche su internet come fare ma la soluzione più corretta sarebbe riscrivere la stringa tante volte per quanti articoli abbiamo nella nostra lingua e far si che venga usata a seconda delle parole da inserire al posto %s, e la cosa risulterebbe davvero complicata a livello di coding credo.
Sì,alla fine è meglio la tua proposta Vareruma 
stessa cosa per caseless,alla fine è uguale XD comunque forse sarebbe meglio non complicarci la vita con altre frasi da scrivere e tradurre,meglio usare la proposta di Vareruma per adesso sono riuscito a tradurre qualche testo piccolo piccolo,alcune frasi poi ho dovuto adattarle per renderle più leggibili (infatti ho lasciato dei commenti in alcune traduzioni per far capire perchè sembrava più sensato scrivere in quel modo) domani continuo ancora con le traduzioni
Allora a posto con la proposta di Vareruma, e lasciamo caseless

Issue in string #7187 of the master-file:

When I try to translate it an error appears, making me unable to save the translation:
Error: The expression ‘% s’ is not present in the original phrase.
I haven’t wrote %s at all, only copied the 10% bit. Removing 10% allows me to save the string though.
Edit: this problem happens in every string having the % symbol.
This should be fixed in source code.
But, at this moment, i don’t know where is error in transifex or gettext extractor.
Please mark this string as Issue.
Nevermind, already found the problem, it’s Transifex.
Solution #1 would be the best choice, but I don’t have the option showing up on the dashboard, perhaps I haven’t got enough privileges.
Solution #2 doesn’t work and I don’t have access to #3 either.
Here’s a late thank you for fixing the bug.
Since 0.C release is coming closer I am about to finish translating the most basic stuff, such as the options menu, the character creation screen, various interfaces and many message logs.
So far I found two problems:
The first one is that Italian has disappeared from the language settings (there’s a blank space instead - also notice the space after Deutschland):
Second, when you create a new character you must choose a profession. You can toggle between male/female as some professions have a different name for different genders (such as groom/bride) and have their relative descriptions as well (or at least, that’s what I think since they appear twice on Transifex). However, in the lastest experimental only the female description is shown, even when you choose a male.
Also, has nightly translations stopped being embedded in the lastest experimentals? I had to download the lastest translation and install it manually.

As for the description issue, I have fixed it, but I noticed some descriptions that are left in english, even if I translated them (and I have the most updated one downloaded from soapfire.ru).
Here’s an example:

Such cases mean that English string has been updated, but stings on Transifex update one time per week, and the changes are still not reflexed.
