How to improve strength, agility, intelligence, perception in the game?
You can’t, in any normal way.
You can increase some “secondary stats”, such a stamina a bit (through proficiencies), but not the underlying stats.
That said, there are two abnormal paths to better stats:
- Cybernetics, i.e. implants with various effects.
- Mutations, where you chug mutagen and get random results (within constraints), with your control largely being which mutation tree to go for, but randomly getting good and bad mutations (you can randomly remove mutations and then roll the dice again, but the random removal can just as well remove a mutation you wanted to keep).
In addition to that there are mods that turn you into a super human through kills or skill use (I think there are two of those). That’s now fairly pointless (in my opinion, but I’ve never used them), as you can just as well give you those stats on character creation (The main character creation system used to be point based, and it still exists, at the least for the time being, but I don’t think it really works properly anymore due to changes since it was relegated to a legacy mode).
In addition to that, there are mods with magic and stuff, and I think there are probably stat enhancing spells there (and more cybernetics).
