Decided to explore a megastore. Wasnt quite ready for the sheer OMG number of zombies pouring out. I decide now is a great time to try out the mininuke I found in a rat cave - yeah, its probably a waste to use it on basic zombies, but there are like 40 zombies running at me. I set it to a counter of 5, heave back my throwing arm, and chuck it right in front of me. Oh. Oh Shi----

I didn’t realise that the thing weighed so much. I thought I would be able to throw it as far as a normal grenade. YASD for playing with explosives.

I DID make a nice dent in the horde though.

I think last time I died, I accidentally blew myself up with some gasoline, but that was months ago. Time to start playing again.

I had spent all of the spring and summer not dying to fast metabolism by drinking boozeberry. Not a good thing to do early in the game as it turns out. I managed to get an RV and drive it to a garage while constantly drunk so I could fix it to be road worthy. There was a school bus in the way of the garage once I got the RV in to which I knew I wouldn’t be able to get it back out again, so I took the smart Idea of finding another car to nudge it out of the way. After about 5 minutes I had managed to get about 6 cars stuck in the way of the garage door. I managed to survive in the extremely unfair towns I always seem to get (filled with shocker brutes, normal brutes and hulks. So unfair) and after five days managed to find another working RV not far from where I was hiding. So I fixed it and once it was ready I thought I would be good for a long time.

Then the engine blew up. Right outside of an unfair fema camp. More hulks and shocker zombies.

It was RIP for me from that point on.

My suggestion, add a luck skill so I stop being so royally screwed.

drive your car only under safe speed (the one in green under the vehicle info menu) and you won’t blow up your engines.

Car accident here - I was driving a beetle under its safe speed (29mph - max safe speed was 45), but I hit a shrub, which was enough to take out the seat from under me.

Shame too, I was looking for a Power Storage CBM to go with the Integrated Toolset and Internal Furnace I’d managed to find.

EDIT: I’m not entirely sure what went on, even. After colliding with the shrub, I got a Debug about there being an error removing a part, and then a bunch of stuff got destroyed. Here’s the last messages:

I can’t remember the last time I died, other than that recent time I killed myself because I wasn’t getting out of the forest engulfed road.

It was like a fucking war zone of different animals and insects.

FAKE EDIT:Checked the memorial file, it was drug overdose, huh, that’s another danger to trying to take on Mil-spec turrets, they cause you to eat lots of painkillers and fall over.

Reminds me of when I was testing the potions I modded in. Set one of them to have a prolonged painkiller effect, but forgot to assign a MAX painkill effect, so it accumulated until I passed out.

Driving a beaten up sedan, loaded down with all my worldly belongings through an open field when I crash into a zombie grenadier. Thinking I escaped without a scratch I travel a few more map tiles when my gas tank explodes. Again I think I got lucky, I’m alive and several tiles away from any cities… then the zombears arrived. Turns out It’s hard to fight a pair of bears with 60+ pain and no guns.

Stunlocked by autofire. Van ran into the woods and I was dead.
