So my most successful run so far, First day of autumn, looking for Universal power CBM so I can start using power armor. I just found a Power Armor Hauling frame in a black widow spider basement, things are going well.
So I spot a shocker brute and a regular shocker to the south, excellent I think, more potential cbm’s. except there’s blobs there too, and it looks like the blobs ate the shocker zombies. 1000 blob kills later I can’t find their corpses at all. ok I think, lets make superglue until there’s no blob corpses left, this is going to take a while. craft my first 20 superglue inside my Survivormobile, noise to the east outside, probably more blobs,… I’ll clear them out in no time.
Those laser dots don’t seem very friendly…
That first explosion must have stunned us cause 14 turns or explosions later while I can’t move or anything…
So yeah, I’m guessing it was something I have not encountered yet, either a tankbot, or a chicken walker. Just cause you have combat skills above level 10 doesn’t mean you’re invincible.
So yeah I was feeling invincible cause the blob fight had me fighting quick successive attacks without reading the combat results at all, felling like nothing could hurt me. I would have had a chance maybe of surviving that initial explosion, as there was a turn or 3 between being targeted by the lasers and me not noticing and taking a step forward, I could have possibly taken a step back closed the car door, and then jump in the drivers seat and slam reverse. well I’m dead no so it’s just speculation. Should I restart in the same game world and seek revenge?
