Damn game lieing to me again…its not remembering any training this zed is just using a cbm to do stuff it never learned! (and pls eye things git gud at obeserving… totaly shoulda recocnyzed that exact fighting stile as bionic martial arts.)

My char was killed by one of my squaddie i was in a police station,with my allied NPC,running out from a zombie horde that tried to kill us.So i get into the building in search for ammo or firearms and i said to my NPC to guard the start of a long and narrow corridor.My NPC accepts and i checked all the rooms but,when i open the door of the last room at the end of the corridor,i spotted a zed.I start to run to my NPC and that damn zed followed me in the corridor,but my allied saw the zed and he started to shoot.Unlackily the corridor was too narrow and my chara was on NPC line of sight,so i was killed by a lots of flying bullets.

Tank drone.

This was my first char who was stuffed with all sorts of cool CBMs and mutations, survived for almost two seasons (winter and spring), had a good base, tonnes of comestibles, and a working car.

To be frank, I won’t miss him very much. It was a great round. But it was also starting to be boring.

R.I.P. Scaffold.

Made another character, this time a cabin survivor. On my way to a town nearby I found a supply crate with explosives and a granade that buffed my str, dex and int to 15, and per to 14. Installed a pack of CBMs nicked from electronics stores in that town.

All that only to fall from the bridge in the night and get drowned. What a stupid death.

Also, it looks like the experimentals now require newer libraries than my system does have. So I shall be totally dead for a while probably, as my ‘hack-arounds’ did not work.

Everything was going great. Had converted the evac shelter into a true home, with solar powered refrigerator, forge and welder outside, bedroom and workshops built inside. Had found some very handy CBAs that I managed to get installed in myself, including integrated toolset and joint torsion to ensure I always had power for whatever I needed. Had lots of food stored away, dehydrated meat a plenty for a rainy (or snowy) day and then some. I’d found a Quad bike in a garage and had toughened it up with Military Composite armor taken off a wrecked Hummvee and was using this to easily get in and out of the nearby city for supplies. In fact, with a small Quad it was so easy to weave in and out of wrecked cars, I was really starting to wonder what the point was in using a full sized vehicle that I couldn’t drive on the streets…

Then I drove over a landmine.

Turret opened fire until it finished me off. There any reason the 9mm turrets seem to have a burst of at least 20? Or 100% accuracy?

Spawn in house.

Static NPC standing outside blows a bunch of ammo on a veritable horde of zombies while I punch three to death inside.

Cauterize four wounds, see 350 pain, sigh, eat a banana and settle in to wait forever.

Die instantly when approximately two dozen zombies break down a door, flood the room, and kill me in between two steps.

Bite wounds are serious business still!

I tried the “Missed” start and got instantly murdered by the shocker and fat zombie that spawned in my house next to me, barely made it outside before being surrounded by like 3 tough zombies and squashed to death.

I have no idea how some people do Really Bad Day.

Burning building start, I spawn 3 tiles away from a though zombie.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF~
I escape thanks to my parkour expert + quick + fleet-footed, but the building starts exploding.
Wander spawns on.
After looting 3 houses, locking the pursuiting horde in the bathroom and moving on, I come across a gunshop.
Jackpot. I take an AK-47, a Remington and some mods and a bucket of ammo. Oh, and a home frontier starter kit.
DOUBLE JACKPOT. This is the type of gun store with a workshop.

I don’t have any time to loot it, I just run for my life - and I find stairs to the cathedral’s basement right outside the backdoor.
After clearing the basement out, I go upstairs to clear the cathedral and take a peek outside.

I’m 100% sure I can’t survive that, not with a fresh character and only 21 AK rounds so I go downstairs to craft some pipebombs and learn marksmanship. If I’m going out, I’m going out with style.
I throw a few pipebombs (one explodes in my hand but doesn’t even slightly harm me - I must have amused the RNGods) and head back inside.
My flaslight dies so, thinking that it being 0.B, the “feature” that caused solid rock to caught on fire is removed, I make a fire out of ONE splintered wood and go read some more.

Aaaaand the cathedral collapsed on me.

This pissed me off far more than it should because my first succesfull character died the same way - to a concrete garage collapsing because of one flaming sock.

Reminds me of when I got stuck in a mall with a lit molotov. I was smack dab in the middle too. Holy shit that was an intense sprint for the loading bay.
