How did you last die?
I saw a horde coming. Being stranded in a forest with no means of transportation I just reloaded my two rifles and yelled “come at me”.
Killed them all, including a zombie master who got into melee range but still only ripped my underpants. Then a skeleton came.
Hit 1 - everything ripped
Hit 2 - most of stuff destroyed, bleeding, hurts as fuck
Hits 3-6 - legs and one arm DESTROYED
Hit 7 - OHK headshot.

The hell skeleton. The hell.
its why carry a shotgun and 00 shot

It’s why guns are meaningless. Why carry weapons when YOU CAN BE THE WEAPON! FISTS OF AWESOME!

Oh man. Well that game went downhill fast. Stood next to a smoker zombie and used a spray can flamethrower. Next thing I know there’s explosions and fire and I’m dead. Not entirely sure what happened, but I won’t be doing that again.

Spawned with my new waifu character in a City-Size 1 game with .5 item spawn, got set up real comfy in an LMOE shelter almost right away, spent a few days organizing my stuff, gathering resources, grinding up my skills as best I could, and set out to explore more of the world…

and then one-shotted by a Chicken Walker grenade from out of nowhere.

Whoever thought those fucking things up should be punched in the head.
In-universe AND game development-wise.

Was raiding a gun store, got some 8x40 carbine and a decent amount of ammunition, fucking score. When I got outside wandering spawn spawned a skele dog and z-9 two tiles away, couldn’t get a headshot or move fast enough. I’d be alright with it if they were already outside but they just fucking appeared. Very frustrated.

Wandering spawns might not be making it into my next world gen, shits too cray at the moment.

You punch KA101 in the head!

oof!

shrug

My survivor, Rhodri Kraakman #9999999 has built the SNV MK II, and sees a lab. although he doesn’t have any of the proper equipment to explore it, he’s all like "I can check out a bit of the first level.

And then turrets.

I talked about Rhodri Kraakman like he wasn’t being controlled by me because I can’t admit that I made him do this. IT WAS HIS FAULT DAMMIT.

Double post!

I was walking into a house when I see something through the window: A tank drone. It eventually chased be down and burned/shot me to death.

Started a new Char . Downloaded the new experimental build so maybe some mechanics have changed - but I just got terribly destroyed in the cantine of a hospital. The last attack was actually a zombie biting my head. Dem brains.

it was 19:30 i was driving my S.P.L.M. back home because energy started to running low because it was dark i ignored known to me tank bot but in 19:30 i was out of rage but before 20:00 tankbot saw me like normal and soon after this few heat rounds hit my car it taken 6 120mm HEAT rounds to penetrate hull and kill me

Flamethrowers of all kinds generate a 3x3 wide explosion of fire.
Minimum safe distance from target is 2 tiles away. Standing right next to the target is just asking for trouble.

If i make a full set of survivor fire-set, i can safe walk in the flames?

No. fireproof clothing isn t.

Cooking some fruit over a bush fire while keeping a close eye on an antlered horror off to the west. Everything’s all good with it doing whatever moose do, go to back up my very first handbuilt motorcycle aaand the game crashed. Last save 2 1/2 hours ago outside unlooted FEMA camp. Sigh, at least my welding goggles that vanished are back. Screw the camp, didn’t find anything useful the first time. Head out on my Roach as it’s gettig dark, hit an abandoned car(woops) and get flung straight into a hostile NPC that unloads 6 S&W rounds right into my crumpled form’s head. I now have autosave enabled forever. ;_;

New character living in the subway of a Dawn of the Dead themed world. It’s terrifying.

I believe the latest experimental has a fix for that, but you might wan to make a backup before you test that.

Starved/dehydrated myself trying my new mycus blooms despite eating to full/slaked beforehand.

Same happened to me. I died of starvation, thirst, and sleeplessness all at the same time. I think something’s off by a factor of at least a hundred.

Tried to test out artifacts inside the temple vault where I found them. It exploded the vault and teleported me into solid rock.

Fortunately, I save-scummed, and when I returned to the vault, one side of the wall was bloody. Jackhammering into the wall reveals a whole patch of blood seeping though the stone, where the previous me had presumably been imploded and entombed. But no corpse was left, nor can I recover those artifacts. :frowning:
THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THE WIKI WAS USEFUL

THE WIKI LITERALLY SAYS TO “NOT GO UNDERGROUND TO TEST ARTIFACTS, BECAUSE YOU MAY BE TELEPORTED INTO SOLID ROCK”.
Stupid deaths make me mad.

Isn’t the wiki terribly out of date? If so, who would bother reading it? Granted you’d probably want to test it out in the open anyways for fear that it might set the area around you on fire, or summon bees or something.
