A control laptop is the second most valuable thing I have on my person, right behind Marloss berries. It’s so useful and has saved my life many times. It consumes very little battery and is quite compact. If you can find the recipe, craft one ASAP.

Started a new game, found a house on the edge of town that appeared relatively unguarded… 5 bloated zombies explode as I climb through the window. Make it out alive, stumble to the next house and clear it out. Unfortunately no water in the back, so I make my way to the front to close some curtains. Hello, soldier zombie and chicken walker. Nope. Manage to flee and see another safe house on the map, so I head into the basement to see if there’s any edible liquids… and run into 3 zombies, a skeleton, and a police zombie. Yeeeeah. Any luck I had that run ran out real quick.

If you would have at least picked up heavy stick and used the window, you could have survived.

Decided to clear a town’s main street so I could wander off into the sunset without having to be bothered by a bunch of stupid zeds. Went around a building and SUPRISE BUTTSECKS!!! First encounter with a chicken walker lasted less than two turns. Light survivor armor is no match against rocket launchers.

Ehehehe, my char survived a direct hit in the same situation with :… on torso. Used the teleporter bionic, lucked out because it put my char in a grocery store out of the damned thing’s vision, then probability shifted through several walls to get as far away as possible, jacked up on some tramadol and codeine, fixed all body parts back to full, put on an optical cloak, went back and chucked emp grenades until the thing was dead. Revenge feels good.

My previous char died from a zombie bio-operator. Protip: do not go into labs until you have a reliable high damage ranged weapon (at least a shotgun) with a decent number of rounds and a pair of rollerblades to run away from every scary thing it throws at you. Even nodachi/katana with ultra-high skill is no match for bio-ops in melee, they’ll fuck you up.

Hmm … how did I die. Well.

Made a new char in one of the recent experimental builds, ‘Abandoned’ with starting in a hospital. Made it out without much of a scratch, found a Nailgun on the way out and then moved towards the small town in the south. Discovered a police car next to some man-made barricade and thought: Hey cool, this looks good from distance as if it may work. -> Moved towards and a few steps later: You’re Dead! … WTF? -> ah, TURRETS! Beware of the ‘2’, they’re dangerous.

That’s what you get for having any safety measures off.

Protip: do not go into labs until you have a reliable high damage ranged weapon (at least a shotgun) with a decent number of rounds and a pair of rollerblades to run away from every scary thing it throws at you. Even nodachi/katana with ultra-high skill is no match for bio-ops in melee, they’ll fuck you up.

You can kill them in meele barehanded …i did… uh can ttell when your able i d have to start a new char for that maybe later. All i can say is that my meele lvl 24 dodge lvl 12 char can take on 9 at once with brawling. Also note that you ll need the anti shock cbm as their static will paralyze you which might be what kills you if you did use a nodachi on em as it conducts electricity …try a 2 by 4 next time:P

Had a great start as a bionic prepper, managed to over the course of over a week fix up a cube van to perfect condition, and even outfit it with an electric motor and about a dozen solar panels. I was trying to get more solar panels from a car, but it was guarded by those freaking turrets (this was before I knew about control laptops).

The turrets didn’t get me, though. I took my van and tried to run them over, and ended up hitting a wall at 180mph and turning into a humongous fireball (bonus points that I still had a half-full gas tank installed).

Current char is more careful when driving and added some plating to the front of her car.

I spawned in an LMOE shelter with four guns with ammo, no food, walked outside and found a solar car with empty batteries but they quickly refilled, went to the nearest city, killed a zombie on the road, stepped out of the car to butcher him, butchered him but didn’t notice the Zombear in my solar car, started the engines and got mauled to death.

Yeah… Cabin start, saw a Mansion to the north; got a little bruised shoving off some Zs and dogZ. A couple of map squares this Z dog follows me and flanks me, but a Zombear rushes to his aid. I knew I had about 15% chance to survive; didn’t make it though.

my death actally got me scared so what happend is i had a mission and some guy with me i go in a room and suddenly got killed by someone when i didnt excpect it like i had no time to defend myself
