I would if I could, but I’m one of those idiots who just walks into things as if it’s a party with free sausage rolls. By the time I realized the little hashtags from the tileset I was using were giant black widows, I was mincemeat!
Might stick to the orginial ASCII for my character’s safety.

That or use a proper tileset that at least has a fallback for generic monsters.

Could you recommend any? All the defaults & Coleeen’s don’t seem to have giant black widows, although I could of sworn they did before.
I died a pretty lame death recently.
I had the “Frail” trait at 12 strength, full health and tried to remove a bionic. It failed and I instantly died from the damage. I expected some body damage and had enough bandages and first aid skill to heal it, in theory. But I did not expected that it would instantly kill me. 
Lesson learned: NEVER try to remove a bionic when you’re frail.

I had managed to get a good character going, cleared out most of a good sized town, 5 sets of power armour, a smallarmoury of guns, and then I lost my USB, yay.
I was once riding in my pimped APC to raid another lab. Down there I was wondering what might be behind a certain rock wall and with my propability travel CBM i teleported through. But there was a freaking lava river on the other side!! And since I travelled several blocks of wall, my power was drained and I couldn´t teleport back! So I horribly burned to death.
