Wasn’t paying attention when I tried to see what one of those new military outpost places looked like and got surrounded by hostile NPCs. Should’ve turned safe mode on.

Well, this one’s embarrassing: trapped in a lab.

Found a lab, went down despite having only 1 computer skill at the time. Fight my way through everything, but find myself stumped by the computer-locked doors with hidden goodies beyond. Lacking a digging tool, I happened upon a teleporter and, after a few tries, managed to beam myself into an armory. Loot in hand, I tried to teleport out - and landed back in the armory. I tried again - landed in a locked cell right outside the armory. Again, again, again - each time into the armory, or somewhere just outside the armory but in a locked space. Eventually, my teleporter ran out of charges with me still stuck inside, with no tools strong enough to break through the walls (MGs, no explosives). After exhausting my ammunition and attempting to build a bomb out of the stuff I couldn’t shoot, I had to abandon the poor chap to his doom.

First, i almost died in a town full of custom zombies that seem like something added by rebalancing mod… zombie night stalkers,

its a throw-it-and-dive-for-cover thing. 3 of those will all but wreck secubots

So I decided that after killing a huge wave of [glow=green,2,300]zombies[/glow] that I should sit down and read my new pile of books. It was all fine and dandy till a recently [glow=red,2,300]injured[/glow] moose came a rekt me for no reason.

Snuck into Bandit camp Fort. Cleared most of them out until i turned a blind corner…(I would think) The bandit leader with his Full Auto UZI emptied an entire magazine into me.

I was sleeping with fungal stalks for arms when a flaming eye teleported me outside.

A grenade hack had just blown up my companion, and a minihack was 5 tiles from me when I awoke.

I’m currently going four for four starts where wildlife killed me. Bears, wolves and giant wasps seem attracted to me. Honestly atleast one was my fault for not paying enough attention to my surroundings.

Just now I came across a Jabberwock near my base since I accepted the quest from an NPC, I had to run into the town to try to escape it and dragged it into several hordes of zombies to weaken it, while it was bashing a turret causing it to explode and do barely any damage to it, I recruited an NPC who slashed at it with a makeshift glaive. She got killed fairly quickly and as it chased me I slammed the door to a sporting goods store. It immediately smashed a whole through it and took it down the next turn. I run into the back and slammed the door again forgetting there wasn’t a back door, Thankfully it was dark but the problem was he was blocking the door, so I shouted, picked up a bat, threw the trench knife which embedded itself into the jabberwock and ran past but got injured. Shortly after while being chased I turned a corner as it was right behind me into a garage. The jabberwock breaks down the wall causing the ceiling to cave in on me trapping me under the rubble. The jabberwock proceeds to beat my face in as I am unable to move.

My habit of scarfing down raw offal killed me as soon as the nutrition stuff went fully active. Suddenly I was full of parasites and not a single bit of meds for it around and the pain climbed high way to fast. Died trying to get away from a few zeds while scavenging for meds.

Then, a series of unfortunate starts.

-Exited my burning house into a 2 tile wide ally with zombies at either end
-Exited my burning house adjacent to a gun store and no other houses in sight
-Exited my house and a spitter saw me leaving
-Exited my house into a trapdoor spider lair

Apparently you can misfire the packed laws if you’re total crap at launchers.

Picked one up, toted it between some buildings to fire it at a nearby gas station for the lolz. Then my character decided to fire approximately 45 degrees off course into a wall which prompted the house to come smashing down on me. I survived, but was pretty much a sentient piece of mangled meat. I crawled over to my car but an angry police bot (which was summoned by an angry eyebot) came over and poked me to death.

Was a year 2 survivor too :C

1. Day 2: “I’m sure I have enough time to raid one more building- the house where I heard all those explosions yesterday- before the sun rises.”

2. Day 5: While jousting with a Remington 870 with reloaded 00 shot, I ventured a little too close to a shocker brute and was ejected from my motorcycle. “No problem, a point blank shot will finish it off since it’s already heavily wounded.”

Day 1: It’s cool, I got these two handguns, I can totally take the 3-4 hungry zeds in the basement of the starting shelter now and claim all its delicious loot!

…There were more than 4. Quite a lot more than four.
