might this ‘seed’ you refer to be the ‘essence’ they sometimes drop? milky white, kinda gooey like snot, tastes vaguely salty yet tangy?

yeah I was more thinking bovine/raptor mutagens for my nugget army than plant but hey if they get bark and some thorned tentacle whip thingies then im down 
Are we brain storming or is it a thing in game already? I don’t breed animals as of yet in game.
Also, I’m pondering the very real thing of not being able to cross breed species, due to genetic incompatible genes. Mayhap I am thinking to deeply on this topic? 
as far as I know all of this is pure hypothesis, though I am thinking of learning how to do the computery sciency stuff to make genetically/augmetically enhanced animals to help out in the new world
mostly my raptor nugget army but other things could be looked into aswell
