Has the rechargeable battery mod been made obsolete?

i dont see it anywhere, and at electronics of 8 and mechanics of 9 or 10, fabrication of 12, i still dont know the recipe, and i havent found it anywhere. is it no longer being used, only included for support for old versions?

oh wow, so thats why i wasnt finding any rechargable battery mods. so i assume the ups mod can be recharged, or take from ups? both?
