Graphical glitch removes parts of the gui in-game

The gui in my game glitches out if I attempt to switch zoom levels. I have 4 screenshots in an album that better explain the problem.

Switching versions does not help, I have tried 10 of the most recent (as of 10/05/14) versions.
The problem persists with all default texture packs.

Several versions later and I still can’t play. I noticed someone working on it, but the PR hasn’t been merged yet.
Is there any way I can modify my own game with the changes posted here? https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/pull/9429

Aside from that, is there somewhere I can download a working older versions? The website only has the 23 most recent versions and I was dumb enough to overwrite files w/o a backup.

Don’t switch zoom levels for now.

When accessing the crafting screen and going back thereafter the ui will be restored. /workarround

The mentioned PR has been merged now, please test and report if the fixes work. They should work in theory, but I haven’t been hit with this specific side of the bug at all. The fixes mostly focus on bitmap fonts of different sizes, not tiles.
