I’ve gotten electronics to 13 in the current experimental(lvl 1-10 w/books and lvl 10-13 from crafting CBMs and Upgraded Solar Panels), and Rifles and Marksmapship to 10 after 2 in game years @ 90 day seasons(I’m lke 2% away from lvl 11 in Rifles and 17% or so in marksmanship till lvl 11). I used the crossbow at first and then switched to pneumatic bolt driver, which only has a range of 26 tiles, but have still been able to get to almost lvl 11 with it. I’ve still got a bit of journey to get to 20 though.
I dunno, I’ve not gotten there yet unfortunately. I’d really like too get to where I could install a third engine, even if it’s not really needed lol. Here is a quick look at my @ screen if your interested https://imgur.com/a/MlbIK, I believe I’m on summer of year 2 @ 90 day seasons, or is it 3 now. Is there a way to tell how long you’ve been alive besides just remembering?? I’ve only got 4900 kills, I’ve been taking it pretty slow.
edit: looks like my marksmanship and rifle skills are lower than I thought
I don’t know if it would be a challenge or milestone but, run down and back up a frozen lab that has atleast 3 floors (Not counting ground level) naked.
EDIT: Oh and no internal climate control
Hey Blitzkried… The editmodify button is there for a reason.
I wouldn’t think playing it at school would be hard if it allows playing games, it’s just all the people wondering how are you content with that game that’s clearly from the 1990s (if you use ascii)
Hey!
I have a challenge submission.
What about driving through X tiles of forest without stopping and repairing?
I like it!
Are NPCs eligible for godhood?
For challenges it’s possible to get an NPC to do the J-9, kill a chicken walker, clear 5 levels of a slime pit, kill a thriller with a thriller novel, kill the hulks from the thriller killed with a thriller novel, kill a shocker brute unarmed, and/or kill a fungal structure. If NPC needs are enabled they could probably drink a barrel of whiskey too.
For milestones you could give an NPC a full set of fancy clothing, and give them an artifact.
And, is there something I’m missing with the slime pit challenge? I tried using the debug menu to explore several map tiles in a test world; none of the dozen or so slime pits I found went down to 5 levels, and each level on the overmap did not look like the slime pit from Nijuni’s screenshots.
There is no reason they shouldn’t be, except for challenges involving not-starving, not-dehydrating and not-dropping-from-exhaustion.
A challenge to get NPC to do something great without help would probably be harder than 90% of the ones here.
Close to finishing that NPC God of the Cataclysm: two milestones (fancy clothing, artifact) completed and four out of five challenges (shocker brute, chicken walker, fungal spire, J-9) completed. Can I substitute vodka or brandy for the whiskey drinking challenge? Those seem to be the closest alcohols to whiskey I can make without the Homebrewer’s Bible, which I gave away for an NPC outpost quest. They have the same levels of stim as whiskey (-12), just different levels of nutrition, quenching, and enjoyability.
Is this a thing that’s still going? If so, I’m perfectly willing to try my hand at these challenges. My one concern is that all the cool titles are taken! D:
Also, thanks for informing me those damn slime Pits have more than one layer. Heheheheheha. Time to destroy some slimes.
