Bad news everyone! Save corruption happened. However my last backup wasn’t that long ago (literally right before I got my threshold) although The Landcruiser has been reverted back to the military cargo truck it once was… Expect an update tonight or tomorrow.

To those folks who propose surviving in the epicenter of a mininuke explosion:

I debugged this stuff a little. It doesn’t seem possible at all (I had reinforced heavy power armor worn and turned on). It was 100 000 at everything. Keep in mind that you can’t get more than 120 hp at the start.

It’s a clean disproof of possibility. Wearing the toughest armor available, head took over 1,000 damage; torso took over 800. Not enough HP legitimately available* to soak that, so getting lucky/reloading with Granades is it.

*Check: 20 ST at chargen, Tough -> Unbreakable +40% HP (no actual way to mutate TOUGH2/3, I need to fix that…), Ursine mutcat for +7 ST and TAAANK +40% HP = ST 27, 266 HP.

And that doesn’t impress me much. Poor Kevin doesn’t deserve that kind of abuse.

So progress update! So far no more save corruption shenanigans and progress on The Landcruiser is going well

No I will not accept the rolling fortress milestone if this would qualify… It’s not done yet… Needs a ram, some cockpit reinforcement and a rear control seat for reversing/“the front met the business end of a tank drone”

For the “Drive through an entire school” challenge, I don’t have a school handy, can I substitute a mall for the school?

Alright, found a shocker brute and killed it unarmed… not quite sure why punching it didn’t have any consequences though… No gloves, no artifacts and I don’t even have that one bionic…

maybe the alloy plating on your arms prevented shock damage when punching it?
