I know how it feels all to well. I once colonized a basement with fungus from my hands without using marloss. Without learning about the chances to fungify particular types of terrain first.

No progress at all to the threshold that I want, but I have a military cargo truck that’ll serve as the base for my deathmobile.

Might get one of the other (non-threshold) milestones if I get stupidly unlucky in finding that book.

So, I played around with the mini nuke thing and I don’t think it is possible. I cheated the perfect set of mutations and bionics with max stats and heavy power armor and it still gibber the character with 286 hp.

Could be I missed a few stats somewhere, but I don’t think it was close.

Things like this are why I make backups. Also, I’ve gotten 10 BUFFS!! and my health is at 297. If I can’t do it, and other people with similar levels of mechanic abuse can’t, then it’s impossible.

Alright so another update on my progress:

I finally found that book after 4 labs (and getting my arms shot off AGAIN…) and acquired the threshold I wanted

But other than that, nothing really exciting happened other than me starting construction on The Landcruiser

At least 3 APC’s will be consumed to bring this to completion. (Only 1 has been so far)

Yes it is very hard to move this thing around a city.

Its nowhere near done yet. More stuff to add, restructuring the middle bit, and of course a giant ram. I have the design in my head, gonna picture it as one of those early tanks (but bigger and with a giant bulldozerish thing on front of it)

Oh the “kill a chicken walker in melee” challenge, do I have to approach on foot? or can I roll up in The Landcruiser until I’m right next to it, pop out and then stab it?

So, I have a character to the point where I’m going to start trying some of these, but I noticed about half of them are ‘beat strong monster unarmed’ which is easy for unarmed specialists, and only hard for others. Just a suggestion to add some more that are varried and/or condense those into beating any one of them or a certain number of them. Also, is 40 skill even still possible with the new skill system?

Well, if you want different challenges, suggest them. Also, I have no idea what new skill system you’re talking about, but I have mechanics and every melee stat over 50 so it’s definitely possible.

Kill a zombie hulk unarmed and naked. Never mind about the nakedness now that they throw you through walls.

Get to 2000 pain OR 3000 radiation.

Drink insane amount of mutagen while life-supporting yourself.

Well, if you want different challenges, suggest them. Several skills like cooking are limited to a max level because of this. I know ranged skills are limited by the accuracy of their weapons so there is some limit, though I don’t know what it is. I’ll see if I can’t think of other good ones.
