Eperimental build discovery!

So im playing the latest experimental build. got my guy fairly built up. then i raided one of the hospitals. after killing many spitters & bloated zeds i found plenty of meds. but then i found a computer. it took me like 25 tries to hac iti. then i was able to inject stim cells and randomly put stemcells in my eyes and gave me 70pain. after a day or so i developed extra 2 blocks of night vision on top of my normal night vision… so now i can see 4 blocks ahead at night personality. is this new or has that always been possible?

Actually I think Its just the simulation of a full moon, ist probably a coincidence that happened after the stem cell treatment.

Still, night vision stacking is a really weird bug. It could make strange stuff when drinking mutagen.

Hmm i reloaded my game and went to a basement and no longer have it. i did when i saved tho. a bug i guess. it was extremely helpful while it lasted. ill keep you posted if it comes back. strange.

Ok so it only happens at night. if go in a basement it goes back to normal nightvision. so maybe it is a full moon. but a fullmoon wouldn’t last for 4-5 days right?

Nope, it’s the lunar cycle. I haven’t used it personally, but I think stem cell treatment is to regrow lost limbs. Again, not completely sure on the details, but your sight radius outside at night increases over time. The amount of increase is also dependent on the weather, cloudy nights giving you less range. Presumably the nights start getting ‘darker’ again over time, but damn are those science labs tempting…

How does LSD (we’re thinking of the psychoactive drug, right? It’s the only acronym I can think of) promote healing?

IRL: it doesn’t, or if it does, I don’t know how either.

In Cata: Probably the same way it helps MUTCAT_MEDICAL. Gets you in the proper frame of mind and all that.

Ah, I see. Although personally being on LSD for surgery would be one of the last things I’d want to do.
