Why the hard guard is only on the left arm? Because he’s right-handed melee type with zweihander, and he uses his left arm to assist blocking. If you google deep enough you will find that 90% of Middle-age european armors had reinforced left arm.
Yay for asymetrical character design with purpose! claps
As it turns out, I’d forgotten my good pencils at home so I didn’t improve Wolff (as I believe the pickelhaube guy was named…) too much. I did adjust some things in the picture last night though, mainly making his shoulders a bit broader and his arms a bit shorter. It definitely looks less Slenderman proportions now
This is just something I threw together in a few minutes. The only 2 things that a well dressed, laser cannon-wielding, hyperintelligent survivor is afraid of.
I don’t make the rules but seeing as this thread started with ragecomics quality and turned into this… (plus some old fashioned rage GOODNESS still). You’re probably far in the clear.
[quote=“Inquisitor Dust, post:470, topic:441”]Finally drew something Cataclysm-y. Just two of my survivors, the guy in the peacoat and the pickelhaube from my other picture, now with a gas mask, and this albino bionics girl.

Heaviest powerarmor available, best bionics possible, hottest flamethrower assembleable. Technically he’s not a human since his body is more than 50% mechanic. Died by an accident - sometimes you should not ram cars on your way.
Nimble girl, she was a sharpshooter and became a hamburger. Literally. Never sleep in the city if you not sure that you cleared the whole block.
Zweihander wielder from previous drawing. Still alive and with better equipmrnt now, e.g. metal arm guards, hard leg guards, gasmask and tactical helm. Cool orange stripe included.
Why, thank you. Actually, I wanted to draw it much more bulk and wide - it’s god damn heavy armor - but my pencil got a control in its own… erm… hands and then I’ve made him slenderish.
