As for the suggestions for shimmering portal replacements, it has to be more or less the same size, since making it too large might make the mapgen go bonkers (overlapping stuff, my shimmering portal was practically in the backyard of a house)

Ok, then something as the broken gas pipe I mentioned would probably fit here. Or a deep pit with maybe a chance of having something of value at the bottom. I like the idea of it being something both potentially dangerous and beneficial for the player at the same time.

Well it was day 1, and there was nothing out of the ordinary besides some zed on the farm.

Day 14 and still a lot of fun! But the most dangerous situation i survived yet weren’t the Z’s but my very first attempt to drive a motorcycle.

The game crashed a few times during melee with wolf spiders. In most cases when i gave them the opportunity to attack me the game crashed. If i kill them with the first strike, everything was normal.
I also encountered “ActualCannibal Beo…” (can’t remember the full name) 3 times and when i kill him i always got an error message because it is not defined which items should spawn. In this message was also the number “40” i think it was about the item-list but i can’t remember for sure. Because of this only his corpse spawned but everything else was fine. Sorry for this vague report.
One day i also spotted a “flamming eye” and a “Kraken” on the middle of a road in a forest. I am not sure if their existence or the existence of the web and wolf spiders are intended in this game.

Basically if you wouldn’t see it in the “real” zombie apocalypse, you probably wont see it in CZS.

but agiant slug and 4 giant dragon flychased and almost killed my character. thanks to my trusty bicycle i outrun them

is this an overlooked enemy or did you do this on purpose? nonetheless i loved the surprise

Ok. I’ve been a long-time Cataclysm forum lurker, but I had to sign up just to tell you that this is the way I’ve always wanted Cataclysm to go. I am 1000% behind this. Please keep going with it. The idea of a more realistic zombie-survival roguelike without the L4D zombies and sci-fi is something I think ALOT of people would love.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that the guys behind DDA are keeping Cataclysm alive and continuing with it, but this…this is right up my alley. My only regret is that I could not help you with this mod as I have no experience with coding.

everytime i use the wish for item command i meet actual cannibal shia labeouf then crash the game. is that a bug or it is intended to stop using the debug menu?

Not sure if these are supposed to be still in or not, but I found a shimmering portal right next to a house. First time I’ve seen one so I was alittle chuffed, but wasn’t sure if they are still supposed to be in or not.

Using Tase’s version and was recording this at the time, if you want I can link the vid.
