Bows and modifications change since I last played?

Since the last time I played, it looks like there’s been a number of modifications to the way bows work. The original modifications are still in the menu but it seems that bows only accept one now?

Can someone give me a quick rundown? Can I even use arrow rests and stabilizers now?

Can’t use firearm repair kit on bows to increase its damage.

Basically most bows are “traditional” and don’t have proper mounting points for modern mods. Modern bows like the recurve and compound (and a couple others) have those mounting points and accept all mods. This is going to sorta change in the future.
