In blazemod, turrets have to be mounted on turret slots and battery case is treated as one.

Turret frame is internally just an armored battery frame.
Core game doesn’t have a turret frame, so author reused the slot for batteries.

Oh, cool. Yay, so I can just use the storage battery cases for my turrets. That makes expanding my collection of the Imperial Superheavy Tanks infinitely easier.
