[0.6 git ] air filtration bionic doesn't filter smoke?

description indicates that it “attempts” remove toxins/poisons/whatever from the air and it’s a passive module. but i still seem to get a lot of breathing problems from smoke with it installed.

what is it supposed to do, and is it doing it?

well looking at the code it is passive but if you don’t have power for when it attempts to filter then it won’t work.

Maybe it should tell you that it needs power in the description. Last build i used it, it didn’t say anything, so i assumed it was an always on thing.

Huh. The wiki entry claims that CBM Air Filter is free, but A) only provides 2 points of protection, B) up to level 5 (roughly equivalent to a Filter Mask, IIRC).

Sounds like something needs fixed–wither the item entry & the wiki, or the CBM.
