If you brought enough ammo, that’s a benefit, not a drawback.
You know, I have a char who knows how to make a survivor toolbelt before knowing how to make a survivor belt, a component in it… Odd, that.
You have to have tailor 6 for the belt. I think the idea is that the utility belt is you just basically sticking shit into the belts pouches and maybe strapping some stuff on, hence the low requirements.
Exactly. It makes perfect sense, but it taunts you with how unavailable survivor belts are. ;w;
Except that the survivor utility belt stinks. Seriously, the survivor belt + a toolbox is SO much better.
True, but it makes me want it so much more. ;w;
Freshly spawned as a Bionic Sniper, I’m on my first night. See a shocker zombie, decide it’s not worth the constant self-shock of punching it to death, 1-shot it. Hit “butcher”. Lightning strikes, lighting up the area around me… and revealing a good 15-20 zombies within 20 tiles of me.
That was a fun escape.
I haven’t gotten far enough in to build a really crazy deathmobile in a long time, and I really hate the way multiple engines have been nerfed. Like a lot. Of all the things in the game to shit up in the name of realism. Boy I sure wouldn’t want my armored personnel carrier with steamroller drums bolted on instead of wheels to be unrealistic.
Reinforces radiation biomiter with kevlar and leather
It’s those roller drums that are slowing you down so much. Try it with armored wheels and (with enough big engines) you can still drive at relativistic speeds.
armored wheels are enought for durable part
steamroller durms are only need when you need to demolish buildings or clear forest

You mean i can drive so fast that my car gets heavier if i install enough big engines?
Can you give a little more detail? There have been diminishing returns from adding multiple engines for longer than I’ve been around, and the escalating skill requirements to install them have been there too. What was the nerf?
something that sounds terrible… adding 3 v12 diesle engines on 3 light frames and 2 unicycle wheels
Well, I just got a mission from a refugee shelter to kill some bandits to protect a trade route. Thanks to getting the Bad back mutation from a yugg, I’ve been traveling light, so the only weapons I have on me are a UCP with 75 rounds and a trench knife, plus my unarmed skill. I check my map… and the marker is right next to my base, preventing me from restocking. This is going to be interesting.
I used to be an adventurer a hoarder, but I took an arrow a gene dart to the knee spine.
pain from carrying to heavy stuff is not that bad, aside from aspirine addiction there is no drawbacks
Up until you hit enough pain that it lowers your strength. Then…IT BEGINS.
And this is why I don’t carry much. My basic gear alone almost hits 50 pounds, and with Bad Back the cap is ~81… Survivor suits are heavy.
Also, I now have a junkyard of motorcycles and ATVs outside my base. Neat.
EDIT: Oh, I’m a US Marshal now? Neat. If only I had any idea where the “underground complex” those popups you can never re-view is, and if only the ranch were less than 90 tiles away, then I could keep my mission chains going. I guess for the time being, it’s securing the town.
i always tend to carry around 100 pnds late game
